Old Wild West is interesting. As a standard chain restaurant I think they do everything right to deliver an interesting dinning atmosphere at an affordable price.
The food is as you would expect at a fast food chain. They did a great job with the interior of the restaurant. It almost made me feel like I was in Texas again...almost.
After living in Texas for 16+ years my thoughts is that the restaurant may want to add a few things to be more original (I know the restaurant is in Italy, but why not go the extra yard?)
Beer. Corona is a great beer on the menu. Corona is very popular in Texas and the other parts of the West (United States), but they may want to add Lone Star beer and perhaps Budweiser and Miller to add to the more American feel.
Condiments. Again, I know we are in Italy, but I think to be more original they may want to add a bottle of (Gasp) HEINZ Ketchup, Cholula Hot Sauce and Luling City Market Barbecue Sauce
Menu. Again, I know I am being picky, but I think adding just a few items can make this chain spectacular with some very simple additions. One key thing to add is a large steak. ( I mean huge). Just add a very large Bistecca alla fiorentina and call it a "Texas King Ranch Steak". You can add a Costoletta alla Milanese and add gravy on it and call it "Chicken Fried Steak"
Side dishes. To make the restaurant more authentic you may want to add Baked potatos, baked beans, Cornbread, cooked greens (Spinach, kale, chard or...
A short disclaimer: whatever is written here concerns an "Italy dependent" assessment, which does not apply to other countries, and regions 😂 So far, that's one of the best places in como if u don't want to spend a lot of time trying to figure out what this or that dish in the menu is. Here, you don't have to be afraid that if u order something unknown u will ultimately have to pay 30 euros for a piece of smoked cabbage with a little bit of tomato or basilc sauce as a topping. In other words, that's a stress free place with burgers, french fries, guacamole and cola. Prices are extremely moderate compared to our beloved smoked cabbage or frozen pizza sold to you at duomo as a genuine Italian one. Service, in Italian terms, is wonderful, even though some of the waiters might not look very bright to you or bring a broken glass. Anyways, for the money you pay, and the proper non Italian menu you get, that's the best deal in town. Put it short: if u want meat, cola and don't want some strange lady at the nearby table smoke her cigarette nearby - that's definely...
