Torii Sushi Como — Restaurant in Como

Spent 31€ in 2 at lunch. The sushi is good and the fish seemed fresh and tasty. The staff ignored my call a couple times since we had been waiting 15 minutes before they took our order when my SO called them. We were pretty happy with the food until the very end when we ordered some dumplings which they instantly gave us and were completely cold, stiff and I honestly hope they were not taken off some leftover plate. I wish they would've said they couldn't prepare them in time instead of giving us "old" ones. The restaurant itself is classy and comfortable, suitable for casual stays. The bathroom was big, modern and clean. There usually is plenty of parking space outside although at midday you have to pay about 2 Euro...

Mi dispiace lasciare brutte recensioni ma: Il menù è da sistemare. Vecchio e scomodo, offre relativamente poca scelta rispetto ai soliti sushi alla quale sono abituata. In più il costo del servizio dovrebbe essere già incluso nel prezzo del menù per evitare fraintendimenti (essendo che tanto è lo stesso tutti i giorni). Alcuni piatti hanno un sovrapprezzo nonostante siano nel menù all you can eat, ed io e la mia amica ce ne siamo accorte troppo tardi. Ma soprattutto il piatto in questione (col sovrapprezzo), che era segnato tra i vegetariani, aveva il bollino del pesce cotto, creando confusione tra noi ed il personale, che alla mia domanda “scusi ma quindi c’è pesce?” mi hanno risposto prima “no” poi “yes, octopus” poi “no, è il menù che è scritto male”.. boh sistemiamolo? (La mia amica era vegetariana) Io ho mangiato solo cose a base di salmone, la mia tartare non era male (tagliata a piccoli pezzettini, lo dico perché serve per il contesto) ma quando ho preso un un roll con tartare sopra ho sentito pizzicare un po’ la lingua e non capivo come mai, essendo poi successo con un altro roll (non ricordo quale) ho chiesto ad un cameriere come fosse fatta la tartare.. prima mi fa intendere che la tagliano con la mezzaluna (ed è ok) ma alla mia domanda del “Perché pizzica? C’è del piccante?” mi hanno risposto prima “no” poi un po’ titubante mi dice “non lo so”, così chiedo se può chiedere a qualche suo collega che sapeva se poteva farmi sapere. Inutile dire che ho dovuto chiedere ad un altro cameriere che mi dice “sì c’è del piccante”, così chiedo il perché, siccome non era segnato fosse piccante, e lui mi risponde “perché è poco piccante, quindi non va segnato”… Aggiungiamo che la mia amica ha lasciato quasi tutti i piatti a metà, io ho mangiato piccante e ci sono andati fin troppo pesante con l’avocado (che nei miei roll era sciolto e non capisco perché). Quando ce ne siamo andate ci hanno chiesto se andava tutto bene, ho purtroppo risposto di no, ma nessuno si è preoccupato di chiedere cosa non andasse bene. Ringrazio comunque che non ci hanno fatto pagare i piatti che abbiamo avanzato ed il locale era comunque molto...

Ordered delivery twice from this place during a 3 night stay in Como. My wife and I could not eat out because we were travelling with a 2 month old.

The first night we ordered some hot dishes such as fried rice, yaki soba noodles and a few gyozas and dim sums. The food arrived within 20 minutes as advised and was still warm and fresh. More importantly everything was delicious.

The second night we decided to order in again and this time we got various types of sushi rolls, nigiri and sashimi. Once again the food arrived promptly and was very tasty and well presented.

We would have loved to have eaten in the restaurant and will surely do so on our next trip to Como. Highly...
