The food was nice, but the organization was not quite good. At least the first time we went there. The second time was a disaster. If the boss wasn't there, it seems the staff just wasn't quite capable of doing their job. I made a reservation for 7:30pm, we got there at 7:25pm, then waited 10 minutes until we finally found someone competent enough to talk to us, and in the meantime 3-4 waiters just barged around us without talking. I finally spoke to one of the waiters, and then he walked away for 10 minutes after telling me their boss was doing something else. As if it's that hard to give someone their reservation. The same waiter then came up to me and said he had given our reservation to someone else and that we should wait. At that point we just left. It's pretty rude to make someone who has a reservation wait 20 minutes and then tell them that opps we gave your reservation to someone else. Unfortunately the boss can't do...

We went unexpectedly for lunch but it was full. They told us to return in an hour. So we went for a nice stroll in the charming town of Bormio. When we returned, we had a table ready. We ordered Gnocchi with Ragu and Tagliatelle with Venison meat. Both dishes were to die for. We cleaned the plates with bread. The chef/owner saw that my son had eaten his plate and was eating bread, so he brought him 3 meat balls in red sauce which honestly, were out of this world. I mean OMG, so good. We had Tiramisu, which was okish and I ordered an espresso, which unfortunately never arrived. Didn't matter. The restaurant has a rustic ambience and very homely. It's not a sophisticated restaurant but it's honest and feels like home food. If I ever had to visit Bormio again, I would definitely go eat...

Never again. Having previously read good reviews, I was appalled with our own dining experience at this restaurant. I really recommend not dining here, as for the same price there are so many better options with a higher standard of food, service and quality in the area. The service was terrible from the start - slow, disinterested and rude personnel. The food quality was low - cheap ingredients. We received a plate of raw grilled vegetables and for 7 Euros you receive a grand total of 3 slices of raw courgette, 2 thin slices of raw aubergine and half a roast tomato. It was a joke.
