Sushi Time — Restaurant in Finale Ligure

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience eating at a sushi restaurant this time.

I went there with my husband and son. My husband ordered a plate of fried rice, me and son ordered 2 plates of sushi, a bowl of miso soup, and a bowl of edamame. Three bottles of cola's. This is an all you can eat restaurant.

My husband felt all unwell so he said he's going back to our hotel so I stayed with the son to eat further. He didn't finished his rice.

Meanwhile all the sushis, soup and edamame were finished. So I asked the waitress that we want to order some more of sushi. She then saw the plate with about two thirds of rice and said that we cannot order further unless we finish the rice. Remember that the rest of the food was eaten.

So I explained to her that my husband is sick and that he left earlier. I said we're staying here to continue eating. She didn't understand my explanation and kept insisting that we have to finish the rice first before ordering further.

I finally gave up to argue any further and said I'm going to pay and leave. She pointed at the cashier so I proceeded to go to the cashier. Apparently she understood immediately when I said we're leaving now and want to pay.

I tried to explain the situation once again to the guy at the cashier: telling him that my husband is sick therefore he went home earlier. My son didn't want to eat the rice but he wanted to eat sushi but the waitress lady didn't allow us to order any food if we didn't finish the rice.

I asked him: do you understand? He said no. So case closed.

I paid 73 euros for a plate of rice, 2 sets of sushi, 1 bowl of soup, 1 plate of edamame and 3 bottles of coca cola.

It's too bad that they are so rigid and couldn't see the balance between finishing the food and wasting some food. Furthermore the lack of understanding in some English didn't help the situation...

We stayed in Finale for ten days and ate here three times. The food was super delicious, frrsh ，the location is great too and the sushi is even better than some I had in Milan. The service was also very good. I will eat here again next time I return to Finale....

Una volta al mese appena posso a pranzo mi reco a fare visita a questi ragazzi non solo sono gentili e cordiali disponibili ma anche grandi persone, che fanno di tutto perché il cliente sia sempre al primo posto... Avendo provato qualche altro ristorante Giapponese devo dire che il Sushi Time e un cinque stelle, sapori unici e porzioni giuste...A chiunque passa per Finale Ligure consiglio di provare almeno una volta...Anche perché la vasta scelta di piatti come cucina Cinese e Giapponese c'è l'hanno solo loro...un delizioso Salmone e Branzino alla griglia mi delizia ogni volta...you kenik sia a pranzo che a cena...E tanto tanto altro... se non provi non ci credi. semplicemente vorrei con una parola dire grazie ragazzi per quello che fate ogni giorno per noi...
