We wanted to have breakfast at this café because of its good rating. However, we were very disappointed with the service. The food is displayed, and it looked appealing, but it’s difficult to guess what the ingredients are. When we asked for more information, they answered one or two questions but then told us they needed to serve other clients and that we should 'decide first, then come to order.' But how can we decide if there’s no information available? We were a group of five with differing tastes, plus one person has an allergy, so we needed clarifications and couldn’t place an order within a minute. It’s not as though we were taking too long or being indecisive. I was honestly surprised we couldn’t get simple answers to help us choose our food. It seems they prioritize speed and sales over friendliness and good service—or perhaps they’re not fond of foreigners. That’s their choice, and maybe some people are fine with it, but I prefer places where the staff is friendly and welcoming, especially when I’m visiting another country. I can’t say enough great things about the staff at this establishment. They were helpful and friendly and did everything with a smile. We were starving at 4:30 when NOTHING is open and so we popped in to have a sandwich. Even a simple sandwich warmed up was amazing. The salami and Brie was particularly good. It was so nice that we chased it with a cannoli and found it to be one of the few places where the flavor of the marscapone isn’t masked by the sugar. Plus the pastry was flaky and delicious.
