Ristorante Pizzeria Isola D' Oro — Restaurant in Fiumicino

We entered the restaurant around 8:30 PM after being sent inside… chairs right next to the pizza oven so the air was BURNING!!! we waited 30 minutes without anyone taking an eye of us. they professionally looked at us and sprinted the other way. we were shocked! after 40 minutes of terrible waiting while our stomaches growling extremely loud like wild lions even that the other guests asked the service woman if they’re planning on serving us tonight, the woman looked it us, threw some menus on our table and left forever. she never asked what we wanted to drink and didn’t even thought about serving us food. after around 1 hour of waiting what’s exactly 3600 seconds of wasted lifetime we stood up and straight away left the restaurant… to mention the other guest were literally LAUGHING at us. what a shame. but i recommend if you’re trying to loose weight because you don’t get served any drinks like cola with unnecessary calories or food! have a...

Ci siamo imbattuti per caso in questo posto , abbiamo letto le altre recensioni e ci siamo andati , ci sediamo già da come si è posta la cameriera mi erano venuti dei dubbi alla domanda che mangiate abbiamo risposto la pizza e la cameriera ci chiede ma tonda ? Rispondiamo di sì dandolo per scontato in un ristorante pizzeria con forno a legna che facevano pizzeria tonde , dopo ben 40 minuti abbiamo ricevuto le nostre pizze erano le 19,30 quando siamo arrivati prima di noi c'era solamente una coppia americana con due bambini , e ok sorvoliamo l attesa arriva il più bello ci arrivano delle pizze rettangolari sorvoliamo anche su quello strapiene di condimento un miscuglio di condimento che manco i sapori si capivano mangiamo senza storie , quando chiedo il conto faccio presente alla cameriera con molta educazione che sarebbe il caso di dirlo che fanno delle "pinse " e no pizze tonde perché potevo benissimo decidere di mangiare altro e la cameriera mi risponde ma non sono pinse ma pizza napoletana che di napoletano non ha ben niente mi porta il.conto entro per pagare perché sento dalla sala la cameriera che riferiva il mio riscontro al pizzaiolo entro e mi viene risposto e dal '64 che le facciamo così nessuno si è mai lamentato parlo da pizzaiola gli rispondo al pizzaiolo la tua è una pinsa no una napoletana come dite voi a casa mia la pizza napoletana e tonda con cornicione e tanto meno e una romana la tua e una pinsa ! E a voi gestori potete lavorare solo con gli stranieri che scendono dal aereoporto ! O cambiate pizzaiolo e insegna scrivete ristorante pinseria perché...

Was with a local biz friend. Close to airport hotel and we went here for dinner. The service was superb. A definitely locals place which is the best kind. NOT sure I ever would have found this place but the meal was wonderful. Definitely could have stayed in Rome a few more nights and just had a few more dinner choices here.
