The menu is compact yet stuffed with excellent Tuscan recipes that will delight your stomach, eyes and soul. My friend and I can personally suggest this place both for a quick aperitif (excellent cold cuts, finocchiona was a hit) and dinner. Pici al ragù were thick, tasty and rich in flavour and meat (yes, here they don't hold back ragù) and I also gave it a go to the Scaloppina di vitella with porcini, 2 succulent slices, perfectly cooked, soft and creamy and the mushrooms were incredible. It was a great day in Florence for us. Tired after spending a whole day strolling here & there (22 Km) and sunset at Piazza Michelangelo. Woohoo. While coming down from the top of the piazza, we saw this. We were starving and we decided to dine here. It was just at the start of the dinner rush.

I love everything about it. The service was super nice and helpful. We ordered Pizza Salami & Gnocchi Pesto pasta. My pork salami pizza was great. It was spicy and I loved it, pasta was equally good. The prices were reasonable. We had a great table. We both enjoyed the food from a varied if a little confusing, menu. I adore this place and I highly recommend. Best pizza in Oltrarno (and perhaps among the best in Florence). Remarkable pizza (and pizzaiolo). For me, one the best of pizzerias of Oltrarno. Both of their red and white base sauces have complex and memorable flavors. Orgasmic sensations. The Margherita was classic. Classically simple and flavorful and of the highest class. Marvelous pizzas. If you can, don't leave Florence before coming here, you will be in for a memorable time.
