This gelateria is my Roman Empire. I wish I had more when I was there.
It took me many days to find the right place to try italian gelato. Most places seemed tourist-oriented, with inflated ice-creams and strange flavours (like energy drink). So when I saw this tiny place in a quiet piazza of Florence we decided to try it.
We had the Lemon with Salvia, which was balanced, refreshing, sophisticated, it doesnât matter what I say about it, because itâs impossible to put it into words. And the Nociolla was simply the best I have ever had, silky and sweet.

Never buy ice cream super high and fluffy with bright colours, it will have colourings and food additives. You can tell the ice cream is âflatâ in its container and with pastel colours.
