Spaccio Alimentare is a true gem. HOMEMADE ! HOMEMADE! HOMEMADE! The staff is very friendly and speak English. Julian helped us two out of three visits. We went there 3 times in 5 days and plan on going back 1 more time before we leave. I wasn't sure about the pizza because it was very liquid but I was so happy to realize it didn't affect the taste or quality. One day we even ordered pizza for takeaway (for Americans that's takeout) left it in the fridge overnight and reheated it and it was still delicious. You probably wouldn't expect to get flan in Italy, well think again! It's called Cream Caramel mmm mmm mmm I got this twice and will get it again. My husband loved Grandma's Meatballs. He also really enjoyed the ricotta and spinach Raviolis. We don't drink alcohol but if you do, you won't be disappointed their walls are covered with all sorts of wine. They also have beer and soda. Their hours are perfect for those who like to eat early. They open at 11am and close when their last guests leave (winter about 10pm, spring and summer after midnight) I have pictures to add but I m not able to, so I will try and post this again with...

We arrived at Firenze a few days ago and for dinner we wanted to go somewhere near the Airbnb because we were very tired. I looked up places nearby with good prices and reviews and decided to visit Spaccio Alimentare. It was better than expected. I ordered ravioli and it was so delicious! I enjoyed every bite. We were a group of 8 and everyone was satisfied with their choices, especially my brother who ordered gnocchi. The attention was amazing and they even offered us menus in spanish (we’re from Costa Rica) and a courtesy Limoncello. The ambience inside is beautiful and cozy, but I would recommend bringing that warm lighting and flowers outside, as well as a slower music, and it would be an excellent place in the corner for afternoon cocktails and a nice delightful dinner. And last but not least, the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve tried in Italy so far. The consistency of the cream was just right and had a great flavor. Sure...

The place is very good and strongly recommend for the people. It has very good vibe. We came to restaurant after the breath taking view of the Florence city. We had very warm welcome from the staff especially Giulian and Dario. We had couple of spirit drinks (Italian special Aperol) along with fried potatoes. Drinks were very good and potatoes were so fresh and baked good. Then, we went on to order pizza and pasta. They have very good vegetarian options and customized for our taste. GOC pizza is so cheesey and one of the best pizza in Florence and pasta is also so good and fully cooked. Later, we had home made desserts (Italian special tiramisu and blueberry favoured pana cotta). Felt so good. Leaving the place with very good mood and definitely recommend to have here and especially for...

First off, the name of this place is no longer I Bastioni di San Niccolò , it’s now Spaccio Alimentare. After walking down from the Piazzale Michelangelo we stopped here for lunch. Our first impressions were that it was just a touristy place with mediocre food, but we were wrong, they have some really good food here! Their pizza was very nicely done, but their focaccia sandwich was incredible! It was made with freshly baked focaccia and we got the caprese style, which had amazing mozzarella and the freshest tomatoes on it, plus is had a very tasty pesto spread. Definitely stop in here if you’re nearby and hungry!
