La Farina Pizza + Grill - FIRENZE — Restaurant in Florence

I was there last month with my family and was extremely well served by the waitress who coincidentally was also Brazilian 🤩 The owner was very kind in reserving us a large table for our group in the basement even though it was a busy night. Absolutely every dish we ordered was delicious and well presented, from the appetizers to the main courses. My husband ordered a fiorentina steak and was very satisfied and happy with his choice. I highly recommend it and I will be back as soon as I am in Firenze again! Oh, not to mention that the price is excellent and fair for the high quality of everything...

For our Firenze break, we were staying in one of the apartments next door. We called in at the restaurant on our arrival to the city. Following our welcome, complimentary glass of prosecco, I had the most delicious mixed seafood starter. It was refreshing to see so many gluten free options. On our second day, we called in for an Apérol Spritz (which were just delicious) and we ended up staying for dinner. The gluten free pizza was gorgeous - I was in culinary heaven. Delizioso! I had a lovely insalata mista with fennel curls on top of very fresh greens and sweet tomatoes. Also covaccino, a local specialty fried bread, with pieces of Parma ham and creamy stracchino cheese to dip from a small bowl. Good quality glass of red table wine to accompany and a fantastic tiramisu to finish. It came out to just over 30€ in total, including water and service.
