Trattoria Ada — Restaurant in Florence

Food and wine were incredible. Waitress and waiter were incredible. What seemed to be the owner… not so much. He was showing respect and appreciation to everyone in the restaurant after learning where they were from. When he found out we were from America he laughed which embarrassed us in front of the entire restaurant, then proceeded to ignore us for the rest of our stay. Pretty unfortunate because our host had regarded this restaurant as one of the best around. Would be a great spot if you are from any country but America it seems. We cannot choose where we are born. We decided to come here because this place was nearby our B&B and we found it has good reviews. It was the best choice we made in Firenze - all the dishes we had were super tasty from the starter to the dessert. Personally the highlight for me was the seafood carbonara and it was the best pasta I've ever had in my life. Friendly atmosphere, lovely staff and absolutely amazing food. As it's located outside the city center, it was visited by locals. And it is always a great sight. What surprised me the most was the quality of seafood - I didn't expect to eat such amazing insalata di polpo in Toskania.
