I’ve been coming here for three years, and today I was WAITING IN LINE to order my coffee. The guy behind the counter was taking everyone else’s order and just straight-up ignored me. I waited, but then he went ahead and served someone else right in front of me. I told him, ‘Excuse me, I haven’t ordered yet,’ and he had the nerve to tell me I didn’t wait in line! When we entered, we saw that they had a letter outside the cafe with an offer (panini+water+coffee) and I asked for that offer. However, I realised that they charged me the items separetely. When I went to complain, they told me in a rude way that I had to say I wanted the offer before ordering, and I actually did it. The view is beautiful and certainly worth the trip but the staff are very rude. At first, I asked for a paper cup and they told me it would cost 10 cents. I said never mind and they proceeded to tell me I should be “saving the planet”, which I felt was quite rude (considering a single paper cup is not going to save the planet). I then was asked to leave after 30 mins when I hadn’t yet finished my drinks (I ordered two) because I was sitting alone and sketching/painting while drinking.
