Corte dei Pazzi — Restaurant in Florence

I am rating their customer services ( the bartender only)as my friends and I ,didn t get to place any order. We didn t have a reservation and we asked inside if they have any availability for 5 people.At the beginning we have been told by one of their staff that there is no available table at the moment,but luckily the bartender interfered and asked the waitress to give us a table of 6( in the garden) ,as of that moment the waitress turned her back to us and we have followed her ,thinking that she will show us where to sit, unfortunately she left us in the garden unattended and she took care of other clients and we had to figure it out where to sit and in the same time not to disturb other clients( the restaurant is beautiful and the garden is very intimate and very nice). Well, after the waitresses head sign where to sit ,we made our way to the back table,she brought us the menus and that was it, as it has been more than 30 minutes of waiting for someone to come and get us the order ,but no one came not even to inform us that it may take longer to take our order, they have attended other new clients and emptied the tables around us and we were staring at them hoping that someone will ask us what we would like to drink and eat. Anyway, we have left the restaurant and for sure ,if we will ever visit Florence we will not...

Wow! Exemplary show of above and beyond service and Italian hospitality. A true example. Where to even begin! Georgia & Momi were excellent in taking care of our table of 4 right at closing time. Not only was the food incredible and the service exceptional, they brought us in and helped our worries go away and really relax! We were left without room & board down the street after our AirBNB turned out to be a fluke. They helped us find and book another hotel by talking with the hotel reception, directly speaking with and processing our booking to be finalized, served us flavorful and impressive dishes, and then booked us a cab to the hotel. In terms of food, I recommend what I ate: Florence Aperol Lambrusco to drink and Gnocchi Tartufo plate pair really well. Style, grace, and class.

If you are here, ask them why the name Corte dei Pazzi? Be as generous with them as they were with us because we can never repay these angels for the kindness and love they showed.

I attended to the pasta making class. So my husband didn't want to attend to the cooking class, he did his own thing while we were making pasta, we asked the restaurant worker if it was fine for him to take my picture cooking and taste the food i made, she said yes. He came in during the pasta making once to take my picture but the guide seemed visibly upset by that and told him to close the door since "the air conditioner was working. " (It was not working and it was terribly hot inside) then, later i called him back to taste what I cooked , in this class everyone prepared 4 raviolis, a cup of tiramisu and some tagitalle, you write your name on the stuff you make. So once the food came to the table, I shared my food with him (he didnt eat anyonelse's food, 2 of my 4 raviolis. we were eating and chatting with another couple, having a good time and suddenly the guide came and told to my husband "you are not a part of the experience" and ruined the entire experience.
