Osteria La Vigna Firenze — Restaurant in Florence

I attended a private wine tasting on October 5th, 2023 at Enoteca Vigna Nuova which I booked through Viator.com. The venue has very recently started offering tastings AND cooking classes. For whatever reason, I was unable to post my review on Viator but I'm keeping my word. I told the owners that I was going to give them a stellar review and here are my reasons: *Timeliness of service. I arrived early and they sat me immediately. There was no delay in accommodating me and proceeding with the tasting. *The owners were extremely professional and knowledgeable about their wines and the included pairings with local products. (Do not miss out on tasting the red onion marmalade!) *The wine tasting selections were correctly moved through a traditional spectrum in the appropriate glasses for each one. *They answered all of my questions and at no point did I feel rushed. *The outstanding customer service they provided to me exceeded my expectations.

I wish I could have this kind of a cozy wine bar coffee shop / casual restaurant around the corner from my place... if I lived in Florence I'd probably never leave.

The space is charming, the restaurant side is large, but the wine bar side is intimate. Very approachable but varied wine list with a lot of surprises from local releases that she seems to get her hands on.

You can have an elaborate meal, a simple plate of pasta, one of their daily special sandwiches or they will even put together an incredible charcuterie plate based on what you like.

I seek out great wine experiences and here they have a truly invested wine program that rivals any in the city. The true star of the place is the young engaging owner... she has her act together and her gracious hospitality and knowledge of her product make for a great time.

During our visit to Florence, we had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was without a doubt one of the best culinary experiences of our trip. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, striking the perfect balance between tradition and modern style.

The service was impeccable — the staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready to offer great recommendations for dishes and local wines. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The grilled beef tenderloin was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked, served with delicious seasonal vegetables.

The wine list is excellent, featuring top-quality Tuscan labels. We also loved the dessert — the tiramisu was simply perfect.
