Reverse Firenze — Restaurant in Florence

Horrible place from the start. Waiters were so rude and disrespectful and when we were going to pay, both guys with the white shirt starting insulting and yelling at us because we wanted to pay individually and they refused.

We finally paid individually but once we finished the transaction, the barman slapped my friend in the face really hard without remorse. They started pushing us out in screams and kicks and threatening to kill us.

I threatened to call the police and they kept yelling that they would kill the police and us.

They lied to the bouncers telling them that we were stealing. Horrendous because he waited to see the green check on the card reader just to charge his hand towards my friend.

Horrible. I honestly don't know how their business...

Where do I begin. Reverse Firenze truly feels like home. Elton and Chris have put so much work into this amazing place not only for locals but especially the study abroad students looking for a place to make them feel at home. The service is impeccable with the wonderful help of the infamous Fabio, the food is phenomenal and the drinks will have you feeling amazing. Not a singular detail goes unnoticed. If you are looking for a great aperitivo or hang out spot - this is your place. Reverse Firenze easily has the best Aperol Spritz & Espresso Martini in Firenze. Words cannot describe how much this place means to me....

Our first visit to Reverse was for breakfast, but we ended up coming back two more times in three days for drinks. The first morning, we met Elton, the owner, and we knew we had a friendly hangout every time we visit Florence! Elton recognized us from earlier that morning as we walked by 12 hours later to grab some Aperol Sprtizes (the best we had in Italy over 9 days).
