If you want an interesting pizza, this is the place!! Went inside as soon as they opened because we were starving, and it was the closest thing that was open. We hit the jackpot!! Really friendly staff, that helped us choose the dishes (we wanted a starter and he said not to take it because it is too big for 2 people if we plan to take 2 pizzas, which we did). So we started with the eggplant parmesan. My partner was craving this and I eat anything. Layers of eggplant slices in an amazing tomatoes sauce, with parmesan cheese, all in the oven. Simple but cooked perfectly!! A great appetizer. For the main course we took 2 pizzas that looked interesting and unique. The first was called figs and porchetta. It's a pizza with slices of porchetta and potato chips (yes, like the ones in a bag), and everything is covered with a drizzle of balsamic fig reduction. What a combination!!! The porchetta was perfect, the chips give a surprising crunch, and the figs give a light sweetness, all on a masterfully made pizza dough. Be adventures and try it!! The second pizza we took was called "the new from the pan". It had mozzarella and caciocavallo cheeses, ham, and croquettes. Even though the croquettes made the pizza a little too heavy, it was still great. The cheeses are an amazing paring to the ham, and again, the dough is phenomenal! For dessert we ordered the cannoli and the crostatine. The dough on both desserts was excellent, and the cream inside was textbook classic!! Perfect ending to an awesome dinner. We paid €58 for the food with 2 glasses of wine, a bottle of sparkling water, and 2 coffees, which I think was a good value for money. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this restaurant.
Like I said, I came back. We were hungry so we decided to get a pizza for dinner. Got a classic margarita, which was phenomenal!! Text book pizza with amazing flavors. We also got a 4 cheeses pizza. Great flavors, and you can taste every different cheese and they all work perfectly together. Their pizza oven is a one of the best. It deliverers quality pizza every time. I'll probably be...
Read moreI went with my girlfriend, we’re both Mexican and Mexican looking. We got there at 8:45 I saw 2 empty tables for 2 once I went in. I spoke in Spanish and asked for a table for 2 A table for two in Spanish and Italian is basically the same. Host responded back in English very rudely. Looked at us in a weird manner and said not possible. I asked how long the wait was if they were full and had reservations. He spoke to a waiter for 2 seconds and said again “not possible” When I asked why he spoke super fast without being able to be understood. And then repeated in a more direct way. “not possible” then showed with his hand the way out.
I’ve had restaurants in my family my whole life and I can tell you something. This felt like a racist experience and I would never go back even if they paid me. I wanted to videotape but we’re on vacation and didn’t...
Read moreMale, malissimo.
