MaMi Ristobottega Gastronomia rosticceria — Restaurant in Florence

We saw this restaurant while walking around our hotel. It was full night before we came. Restaurant shares space with shop where they sell various freshly prepared dishes etc. Our waiter was very helpful and gave some useful recommendations regarding the meals and wines. We had few appetizers to taste and took three different main courses. For appetizers we had big plate with selection of local products (salami, mortadela, parma hama, cheeses), red onion with pecorino cheese, separate cheese selection and penne ala Chiantigiana from primi piatti. Our main courses were beef tagliata with rocket and grana, roasted turkey carpaccio and steak fiorentina style 200 g with truffles. As side dish we had house special potatoes. It's one of THE BEST steaks I've ever tasted in my life😭🥹👏 and I'm a hardcore carnivore who eats meat for life. Very high-quality meat, super thick but so juicy. Crispy on the outside and melted in the inside. Super large portion, order 1 portion for 2, couldn't even finish it. I also had a really nice cocktail, but they have lots of wines to choose from. The waitress is really friendly and explains everything so well. We heard that the dessert is something you must not miss, so we tried it, and it was BEYOND than expected. Very good and authentic Italian lunch place, where you Can try many different Italian specialties. The service is friendly and personal. I had to spend my last travel money (10 eur) and they offered to Mix 4 dishes, which were so full that i could even bring a “doggybag” on my trip to the airport.
