We thought this place looked lovely and unique however very disappointed by the service. The girl waitress seemed so uninterested like she didn't want to be there and didn't really seem to know what was going on. I asked if she had gingerino and she looked at me with a funny frowning face like she had never heard of it when it's a very common non alcoholic drink I had in multiple places in Italy. She did then ask me which type of cocktail I prefer and the drink was nice but very overpriced for what it was. The main thing I didn't like was we got moved from a sofa which was fine and a misunderstanding to a table that barely had chairs. They were tiny little square stools with a beam digging in to your back. I am pregnant so this was very uncomfortable for me. The waitress went past me multiple times to get ice and things from a curtain next to the table leaving me feeling cramped even with nowhere to put my legs and uncomfortable. Did not feel welcome and spoiled the nice atmosphere which is what you are paying for really. We also asked for olives to which she again seemed confused even though they were on the menu and she said they had chips but then didn't bring us any. Safe to say we left after 1 drink. I was kind of disappointed by the bartender's nonchalant attitude towards us. To begin with, there were seven people ahead of us looking for service, and the bartender refused to take them because he was on his own and wouldn’t be able to serve them. Then he came to us, and when I said it was only two of us, he said, 'Yeah, go ahead and take a seat.' That was fine, so I sat on the couch, but he said, 'Not there; it’s for five people,' and directed us to a table literally under the stairs. It was completely uncomfortable, as there were many tables available and the place was empty apart from two other customer in the place. I asked why we couldn’t sit there, and he said it was for five people so he could serve up to five people! (With an additional two, it might be hard for him to handle.) Fantastica esperienza ma non è tutto oro quello che luccica. Incuriositi dallo stile e dall'arredamento del locale io e mia moglie siamo entrati giusto per soddisfare la nostra curiosità. Il barman ci ha accolti e gentilmente ci fatti accomodare mostrandoci il menù che non è cartaceo ma bisogna scannerizzare um bigliettino con il cellulare poiché provvisto di codice qr, purtroppo la linea del cellulare all'interno è bassa ma per fortuna offrono il loro WiFi. Il Locale è molto piccolo ma sprizza arte da ogni angolo. Volevamo bere solo 2 bicchieri di vino ma incuriositi dal menù con bevande dagli ingredienti insoliti abbiamo deciso di provare dei cocktails così detti signature. Assolutamente eccezionali e decorati come opere d'arte, mai provato dei drinks così equilibrati dai sapori e profumi così particolari. Il Locale al nostro arrivo era vuoto ma dopo una mezz'ora, ha cominciato a riempirsi perciò abbiamo avuto occasione di vedere il ragazzo al bar all'opera, una gioia per gli occhi, veloce e dinamico e da solo riusciva a gestite tutti i clienti che piano piano stavano riempendo il locale. Il barman ci ha fatto notare che; occasione più unica che rara era arrivato anche il titolare che tra l'altro è l'autore dei magnifici dipinti all'interno e dal momento che mia moglie è una restauratrice di opere d'arte anche se stavamo per andare via, volevamo fare i complimenti per il locale e magari scambiare 2 parole gustando altri deliziosi cocktails . Visibilmente alterato e farfugliando parole appena percepibili ci ha praticamente cacciati via, mettendo in imbarazzo sia me che mia moglie, perciò la nostra idea di rimanere e sfumata all'istante. Mentre stavamo uscendo il ragazzo del bar è venuto a scusarsi, riferendoci che purtroppo lo avevamo trovato con la luna un po' storta e che non era sempre così. Trascrivo qui le stesse parole che ho risposto al barman : Quando si possiede un azienda di quel tipo i clienti bisogna trattarli col dovuto rispetto e riguardo a qualsiasi problema di natura o entità più o meno grave deve rimanere dentro le mura domestiche. Volevo mettere una stella nella recensione perché l'episodio è stato piuttosto spiacevole, ma tralasciando appunto il comportamento scortese del proprietario la nostra esperienza è stata fantastica, perciò sperando che questa recensione venga letta e sia da monito toglierò solo una stella dalle 5 meritatissime, sia per la location, i cocktails, il servizio, la gentilezza del barman che, aggiungo tra l'altro ci ha dato anche degli ottimi consigli sui luoghi da visitare a Firenze e per non cadere nei trappoloni per i turisti.
