Prices are good but the cafe cut 1 € coperto when you are paying your bill. When you think to pay 1.20 € for an espresso or 2 € for a cappuccino but the real prices are 2,20 € or 3 €. I never like that «coperto» thing, it is very tricky. I didnt get any information about it. I just realized when I was paying. If I knew it before, I didn’t prefer to sit that cafe. The cappuccino was normal, was not in the best in the town like they claim. I also didnt like the pastries I tried. (Update for the owner’s response: i ordered my cafe on the desk. I didn’t see your menu and wasn’t given me any information until finishing paying process. I was in 6 different cafes in Florence, more than 5 in Rome and 3 in Siena. Your cafe is only take coperto for a cafe. In addition, your answer is disrespectful and arrogant. You must inform your customer about it when ordering, before paying)

We ran across this place on our way back from Pitti Palace. We were hot, tired, and needed gelato. My husband is vegan, and I saw this place and knew we had to try it. I really thought it was on the other side of the river (before we crossed the bridge), but maybe I was hotter and more tired than I thought? I had the passion fruit gelato, and my husband had a chocolate one, kids had "after eight". Everyone was beyond ecstatic! It was amazing! Maybe the meals are different, but the gelato hit the spot! Also, after eating tons of gelato on our trip, this was the best gelato we had on our trip (Florence, Naples/Pompeii/Capri, Rome) I also love what they are doing for the environment.

I've spend 4.50 euros for a brownie that wanted to be so healthy and ethical that tasted bad. I wasn't even able to finish it. It tastes like flour mixed with cocoa powder (unsweetened of course) and some nuts. Awful. I don't want a brownie to be healthy, I want it as a treat. You call yourself a day pasticceria and I don't agree with that. Also Having only almond milk? You guys for real? The whole thing was so overpriced, and there wasn't any table service either 🙆🏻‍♀️ It ruined my whole day to be honest. The picture is of the brownie I couldn't bring myself to finish, and PLEASE consider the fact that I've NEVER left cake on place in my whole life.

Unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience with the service. Hidden table charge of per person, only written on a small paper near the entrance. We didn’t know it, consumed only one cake (6.50€) within less than 5 minutes, we got asked to pay for two people. Everywhere in Italy the table charge is for when you actually receive some sort of service, whilst we took the cake ourself and sat at the table. Also, mandatory purchase for all the guests if they sit on the table? They clearly saw that we were sitting on the tables, they didn’t say anything and waited until we were done to say that we had to pay more? That’s a money grab and I felt scammed, we’ve been here a few times before and the services and products were always top level, they eventually lowered the charge for us when we complained. I hope they change this silly rule as I really...

We are two persons who bought small cookies and coffee for 12,70 euros. They charge you an extra 2 euros because our average person spend per person is less than 7,50 euros. They did not inform us of this and just added it to the bill. They have a sign in the store saying that for every person at the table purschasing for less than 7,50 euros, they will charge 1 euro. So why not at least charge us only 1 euro? Or at least inform us that we can buy food for another 2,30 euros to save their fee of 2 euros. Or even better, don’t do these greedy tricks at all. After that the already expensive cookies could only taste okay, and we will not recommend or come back as we do not want to encourage this...
