We ate here every evening as it was our half board option with the hotel Imperatore Punta so can't comment on the menu.

Each evening we were given some sort of bruschetta followed by pasta and then another dish followed by a (no choice) dessert!

We don't eat seafood so often ended up with vegetable pasta to start which was nice enough but probably only twice was really tasty.

The next course could be grilled fish, fried fish, grilled chicken or veal. Served with chips, potatoes or salad. Again, nice enough.

The dessert was just usually given to you and we noticed that often you got half a dessert when the 'paying' customers got a whole one. There wasn't a choice in dessert so easily could get something you didn't like (or can't eat if you can't eat cream like me).

If you're a paying customer you get a little shot at the end. You don't if you're a hotel one.

All in all we very likely would have eaten here a couple of times but I think the menu food looked better than our offerings. We did enjoy the food but it definitely could have been a little more interesting.

The wine was really expensive so we didn't bother, just had beer/water. The staff were friendly enough but with our lack of Italian communication wasn't always easy (our fault, I know).

We did have to wait a few times for the bill for our drinks but in the end we used to just get up and pay!

Do give it a go, it's a lovely setting and the staff are friendly and I'm sure the food from the...

Usually i do not give many negative feedbacks here...but listen to this. We have visited this place based on reviews. Unfortunatelly, the owner is probably kind only to people, who come for a dinner and spend 100€ and more. We just visited for a snack. Food was expensive snd taste-less. The biggest drama started, when we wanted to pay by card, howver the terminal broke snd the owner - little eldery man - started to be super aggressive - yelling on my GF, that it was her card breaking his terminal and denanding our IDs. We of course refused such allegations nor giving him our documents and after 20 minutes the terminal started working again - we paid with our perfectly working card and left. Nevertheless, very creepy behavior from a crazy person...and please avoid this unfriendly place - it will just keep a bad taste in...

2.5 stars out of 5. Not terrible but would not return or recommend, since there are better options in the area.

Acceptable on a basic level but no aspect was particularly positive. Zucchini flowers were decent but not memorable. Pasta was very salty, clams were tiny without much substance. Steamed mussels were smallish in size and very plain with just watery broth, no garlic or white wine or anything discernable to enhance the flavor, so we scooped them into the pasta dish when it came although it didn't improve it too much, nor did the chill flakes we requested to give it some joy.

Servers were just kind of there, showed no personality or interest whatsoever in our experience, well below anything at other places on the same beach here in Forio, Ischia or the many other towns we've been...
