Party of five included our 22 month old gradaughter.. there is no parking here, you must use a city lot 2 blocks distance to the restaurant. Went for a cooking class to lear how to prepare the national dish of Ischia. RABBIT. The chief showed us how to prepare the rabbit, He added the rabbit to the cooking pot, ..browned it off in oli and a whole head of garlic cloves. The other spices were added , along with white wine and tomatoes. The lid was placed on the pot and allowed to simmer for just over 30 minutes. The whole rabbit is served along with a course of spaghetti. It was excellent in taste and tenderness. The rabbit was not gammey but was very flavorful. The spaghetti was just on the cheeey side flavored with the sauce from the rabbit. Wine and burchutta were served as a.n appetizers. Cheese cake for desert . Overall an enjoyable family experience.

We had a great meal here in the cutest alleyway. The food was very good, the waiter was knowledgeable and personable. We were a bit worried because of some reviews claiming they had been “ripped off” but were very glad this was not the case at all! Atmosphere, service, and food were all great. We had a bruschetta appetizer, pasta with bolognese and a rice risotto with rabbit, grilled vegetables, and a tiramisu dessert. It was slightly more expensive than other places we visited, but we got what we paid for.

Wonderful dinner experience. Highly recommended. The various plates we ordered were all fantastic, from the antipasti to the main dishes. They also offered a small antipasto of the house. Jenny, our server and presumably owner, was of great help to select the dishes and gave excellent recommendations. Very friendly and courtesy. Ambiance shows great attention to detail and the small street that this restaurant is located on is lovely

We accepted the suggestion of the waiter, shared platter for €30, one of the items had bottled sweet chilli sauce under it, another had marmalade, it was not a good sign.

We took the suggestion of the main dish from the waiter, he gestured to something on the menu that was priced €16, there was english missing from this part of the menu. He clearly offered something that was per gram, but this was not listed as per gram on the menu, nor on any specials menu. It was unclear to say the least. I'd be happy to pay per gram for fresh catch, but getting the bill and it being a lot more than what we expected meant that we felt scammed and overall could potentially ruin someone's holiday if they did not budget. It was €50 each for what we expected to be €16 each.

All we want is clear and honest pricing.

It looks from the other comments that this happens a lot to others.

In any other place they make it clear how much you are paying because they care about service.

I know that the owner is going to reply with sass, but just look at the other bad reviews and you will see that this miscommunication happens a lot. Whether intended or not, the consequence ruined...

La mia esperienza con questo ristorante è tutto fuorché positiva. Era iniziata bene, locale bello, pulito, servizio attento e ben gestito. Almeno prima di tutto. Ci siamo accomodate (in un tavolo defilato dove era più facile fare amicizia con i passanti che in crosciare il personale) e il cameriere mi ha promesso una pasta alle vongole veraci che più buona non avevo mai mangiato, con tanto di "se non è così non la paghi". La pasta alle vongole era decisamente una delle peggiori, le vongole erano piccole e insipide, la pasta sciapa (mi sono dovuta alzare a chiedere il sale, il tarallo sopra era fastidioso alla consistenza e sopratutto aveva un sapore quasi di vecchio. Facciamo presente queste mancanze e ci viene detto, sempre dal medesimo che ha peccato di superbia, che le vongole (e le cozze) ultimamente non sono molto saporite e che se avessimo chiesto le cozze lui ci avrebbe consigliato di prender altro. Quindi io mi chiedo, perché promettermi il piatto di pasta alle vongole migliore della mia vita se sei il primo a sapere che le vongole non sono saporite e, sopratutto, veraci? Perché la grandezza di quelle che ho mangiato era pari a una tellina. Tralasciamo questo. Per rimediare ci viene offerto un calice di prosecco e dell'amaro. Ben accetto e apprezziamo il gesto. Ordiniamo il dolce, due diversi per me e la mia amica. Io avevo una specie di Ferrero rocher su una base di pan di spagna, per intendere la consistenza della parte esterna e del fatto che ci fosse del cioccolato alle nocciole, perché è importante. Gusto con piacere questo dolce, lo stesso la mia amica e quando sempre il solito cameriere ci chiede se è di nostro gradimento, a risposta affermativa risponde "eh sì perché non sono nostri". Proprio poco professionale. Dopo questa splendida uscita è cominciato il vero declino della serata; nel dolce c'era un pezzo di guscio di nocciola, ben affilato, che ha avuto il piacere di pungermi il palato. Per fortuna, perché sarebbe stato molto pericoloso se io l'avessi ingoiato, o morso. Faccio presente questo ennesimo inconveniente, tutti sconvolti a suon di "è da denuncia" "è gravissimo". Chiediamo il conto totalmente insoddisfatte, arriva e 94,50€. Neanche un euro di sconto. Allibite andiamo in cassa dove "per l'inconveniente facciamo 90€". Quella cena 90€ non li valeva, era il minimo non far pagare il dolce che stava quasi per soffocarmi o rompermi un dente. 4,50€ è uno sconto misero che era più decente non fare, a quel punto. Sopratutto perché quando il ristorante si rivolgerà a la pasticceria (o chi per lei) che fa da fornitore avrà delle buone motivazioni per avere degli sconti più favorevoli di 4,50€. Fortunatamente è finita bene, nessuno si è fatto male, tranne le nostre papille gustative e i nostri portafogli che hanno sofferto inutilmente.

Ci dispiace perché l'esperienza era comunque iniziata bene ma non c'è stato niente di positivo in ciò che è accaduto e come è stato gestito. Manca il fattore umanità perché sono stata vista solamente come persona che paga e non persona a cui è stato promesso un servizio che è stato più che...
