Although it was a Saturday night, there were many empty tables outside, without a reservation (probably because they wanted to start cleaning), so they showed us inside, no problem. The table was covered with dirty dishes and the service was slow, even though many people had started to leave the restaurant. It was obvious that there was no organization. However, I personally liked the food very much. Once equal to nothing, I would come back again!
Updated: I don't do it but after the response i need to reply you... I understand that you may not be the one in charge or have no experience in the catering sector, which is evident from your response. The review is not only about the food, it also assumes other elements - some of which are provided by Google (food, service, etc.), but the entire experience we had at your place.
It doesn't matter the exact time of our arrival or whether we sat inside or outside - the problem starts from the moment we sat down at a table with visibly dirty plates and culteries. The table next to us, an hour after the group had left, remained exactly in the same condition as they left it.
The order was significantly delayed in being taken and served, while all the waiters were passing by our table in turns, sweating. The waiting time for payment was around a quarter, and in general there was a lack of organization and clear allocation of tables to employees.
I wanted to be polite and not mention a lot, that's why i said i will visit your resto again, but...
If after all this you believe you deserve 5 stars, then honestly there is a perception issue of what a quality dining...
Read moreDue to the pandemic with so many restaurants hit by the crisis, my family has been trying to support local businesses as much as we can. Unfortunately, we bumped into this restaurant and we've decided to have lunch. We've been given a table of 4 just at the entrance in between two tables. Given that I am at last trimester of pregnancy, i have asked the waiter to place us in a different table to avoid the crowd since there were still 3 tables available. I've been told that all the tables were reserved, not only the staff ignored us the entire time we there but the service was miserable. After 10min, new customers came in the restaurant without any reservation and they were given a very comfortable table. I would believe that priority should be given to elderly, disabled people, children and pregnant women but there were no compassion or whatsoever to accommodate us. I am not even sure if the COVID rules are respected in this place. We walked off from the restaurant and had an amazing lunch in Grottaferrata in the breathless place. There are so many better choices in the area that I wouldn't waste a minute in the place that sell very...
Read moreAs someone who is celiac, I had dinner here because of the gluten free options they have. The food was really good, however I specifically asked for a dish to be made gluten free but they brought the version with gluten in it. The error occurred with one of the antipasti, the POLPETTE DI BOLLITO SU LETTO DI SALSA VERDE OPPURE DI POMODORO.
It’s really important for gluten free people to know that the gf food has a flag in it to indicate that the dish is in fact gluten free. I didn’t know this until the first course came in, after I had eaten the antipasti with gluten in it.
Update after the restaurant’s reply: I would like to add that I was in the middle of a vacation to Rome, and I had to spend the next 24 hours in the hotel because of the celiac reaction. I had to miss out an entire day of tourism. There’s no discussing that the food had gluten in it. I repeat, the food was good but I had a very bad experience. Also, if the polpette didn’t have gluten in it, something else...
