It's an actual shame because the location and the food are actually good. The staff is good but overwhelmed. The problem and the reason for the 2 stars is because of the manager/owner (a gentleman with glasses that introduced himself as fhe owner) that took any chance to throw his team, from cook to barman to waiters, under the bus even though they've done nothing wrong but be apologetic. He spent most of his time throwing a fake apology and providing an excuse about how the "system" works, messing things up even more. Disappointing! We've waited more than an hour and a half for 3 pizzas. There are too many tables and too little staff, their kitchen is really small and they cannot cope. Despite being a "gourmet pizzeria" be prepared to wait quite a while before eating here. Maybe grab a bite...

The caprese salad tomatoes were not even ripe, the pizza was mediocre at best, had an amazing pizza at IPI last night with similar toppings and the comparison is outstanding, IPI was so much better. The staff were good.. the location is amazing which is why overall I am still giving it a 3! They also do now provide snacks with your drink so they are trying as I saw a review where they didn’t! The glass of wine I got was also very much on the meagre side of the usual generous pout I have experienced so far…...

La location molto bella lascerebbe pensare ad un locale ben gestito con un servizio curato e attento ma basta chiamare per prenotare e cominci ad avvertire un non so che di assurdo … Al telefono infastiditi e scortesi avvertendo già alle 17:00 che ci sarà attesa però se vuoi venire a mangiare alle 21 … come fosse normale che non sanno organizzarsi …. 1ora e 40 per 4 pizze, 100 coperti di cui 75 in attesa minima di 40 minuti , ogni tavolo a lamentarsi ( basta vedere altre recensioni ) “Il forno porta solo 7 pizze “… che piu che una scusa è una colpa se pensano di fare solo pizza con un forno del genere … a Gallipoli … ad agosto …. Bottiglie di acqua solo in plastica e da 0,5l che nemmeno al ristorante de zia peppina Birra alla spina inesistente ( “ non siamo un pub “ ) poi ti danno l acqua in plastica senza bicchieri ( critica basata sul fatto che sia i costi che la location sono di un locale di alto livello ) Servizio sommario per più di un ora a tavola senza nemmeno i bicchieri dell acqua pizze buone ma credo che il fatto che dalle 21 alle 23 la fame mi avrebbe fatto mangiare anche il tavolo … per educazione non ci siamo alzati ma era doveroso un avvertimento a tutti i prossimi avventori … Il cameriere/titolare che si lamenta degli altri tavoli/clienti è forse la base per capire come si lavori in questo posto … Se non fossero in una località turistica non so quanto...
