5/5 for a wonderful experience, there’s indoor dining and also outdoor dining that has a great view of the water. Staff were also helpful (though not very cheerful as some other reviews hint at…), but most importantly food was excellent.
I was turned away rudely by a racist restaurant next door that wanted to hide us, so this place was such a breath of fresh air when they seated us on the outdoor terrace with a beautiful view. We had a starter of rocket, some kind of spinach flan with cheese and tomatoes, followed by two pastas. A vongole, as well as a ravioli stuffed with large chunks of delicious fresh sweet red prawns from the region. Both were absolutely delectable and perfectly cooked. I especially enjoyed the ravioli because it wasn’t too shrimpy despite all the shrimp used and the casing was thin and light. The sauce was wonderful. I would love to come back if I’m ever in...
Read moreAverage food, very bad attitude. At our arrival we noticed that the owner was prioritizing Italian guests above foreigners in order to get a table with rather arrogant attitude. therefore we had to wait a long time before to be given a table inside although Italian couples were placed on the terasse. Food was just ok - lasagna "shrimps & zucchini" had very little shrimps and zuchini in it actually (cheese was the main ingredient). And we were not informed about weight of "catch of the day" fish without any substantiation of the very pricely price in the note which we evaluated very over-priced vs any other dinner we had in Salento. Only positive aspect was the friendly staff and good service. appart from this, would NOT recommend...
Read moreI would give this restaurant 0 stars if I could. Absolutely horrible experience, virtually inedible food that left us all feeling ill afterwards. Food was bland, we got a mix of seafood starters and fish of the day along with Gnocchi “ragu”. The food arrived cold (not just the fish dishes which are meant to be cold, but even the pasta and main course cooked fish). The Gnocchi ragu was barely a ragu feeling more like chili con carne. The grilled vegetables were cold and undercooked. The only enjoyable dish being the Burrata starter which is only due to the ingredients not the preparation. To top it off everything was insanely overpriced and definitely...
