I Tre Merli Ristorante Porto Antico — Restaurant in Genoa

Bizarre experience. Food was good. Everything else defies logic. We had 4 different servers over the course of a 45 minute meal (more on that timeline later) plus a busser. Finished our food and spent 15 minutes waiting for a server to come by. One of them finally did and we asked for the bill. 25 minutes later no bill. I finally had to find a manager for the bill. She dropped it and walked away. I chased her down and she returned with a hand held credit card machine. So essentially, the food was delivered and eaten in 45 minutes. it took another 45 minutes to get a server to come by and then finally get a bill. Yes they were busy. But not 45 minutes of waiting around busy. Amazing bad management. Not recommended for...

One of the worst experiences in Genova ever!!! The food is extremely mediocre and incredibly costly! I suspected that it was a tourists' trap since the beginning, but my family wanted to go there anyway and it's been extremely disappointing! I don't know if I hated more the quality of the food or of the service, both extremely mediocre and useless. The waiters and what it looks like the owner are extremely rude. You can definitely have long way better food and treatment in so many other restaurants in the same area. I highly recommend NOT TO EAT into this mediocre...

Good location and full gluten free menu which is great for anyone with an intolerance or celiac.

They brought gluten free crackers & rice cakes as I couldn't have bread and I ordered the pasta which was delicious, although the menu was slightly mistranslated from Italian to English (I thought I ordered octopus pasta but it was actually a white fish which is why I gave 4 stars). Expansive wine menu and overall the price for food and a bottle of wine was reasonable

Definitely recommend for anyone that is gluten...
