Wow. Stopped in for a cappuccino (during a slow time of the day) and a seat on the street and was met with nothing but contempt by the staff. The staff member was openly hostile taking my order and never came back (60 minutes). There were many open tables, inside and outside so I wasn't occupying prime real estate. Since the seats were comfortable I ultimately decided to get a glass of wine. However I found out that the prices in the menu only applied if you were having food. 3.5 euro per glass with food and 6 euro per glass without food (for generic house wine). What?! More than I paid in higher end spots in Como. Even the cappuccino is ridiculous - 2.5 euro when it is 1.30 a few doors down.

The bottle arrived at the table already opened, so we have no idea what was actually inside. We were hosted by someone else, so we didn’t address the issue. There was no mobile phone signal in the restaurant and their wifi was not working either. There are so many better places at comparable...
Read moreFood is great quality with a very varied choice. The best part was the service was non stop. We met for apéro to catch up with a long time friend which turned I to a long lunch then dinner we were there all afternoon. The service welcoming and attentive. A pleasure. We could not have had the experience if we were in a restaurant where we had to leave straight after lunch. We ordered several dishes over several hours. We had a higher bill as we enjoyed many Aperol Spritz, cocktail and several bottles of wine. Still...
