Sadly, we were made to feel very unwelcome at this restaurant. For context, we are a young couple with a baby in a stroller. Upon arrival, the owner seemed reluctant to seat us even though the restaurant was relatively empty at the time. We were given the smallest table next to a stack of chairs. Perhaps, the restaurant was already booked and we just walked in so this was not a big deal. It took a while before the waiter came to our table to offer water. I will admit, the food we ordered was good. Unfortunately, upon paying the bill, my husband gave enthusiastic compliments (in Italian) and the owner rudely grunted back and seemed eager to get is out of the door. We have travelled all over Italy and this is the first time we have felt unwelcome as tourists. I feel sorry for the owner of this restaurant. Read moreIncredible! We got lost looking for another restaurant and stumbled into this one to use the toilet! 2 ladies graciously accommodated us and we ordered a coffee ! We saw the pasta that arrived at the table next to us and we immediately stayed put. Everything was delicious - flavorful and prepared exquisitely. Michaela took care of us a-z and we even met 2 nice guys (who also got lost and stumbled upon this place). When we return to Genova- this is a definite go to....
