Unsure how they are being rated so high! We have travelled from Manchester and seeing the good reviews we thought a change of food for the evening as this place was situated not far from where we were staying. We must have missed all the people that were "supposed" to have booked the tables given there was a few bookings left but when we walked in we were literally the 3rd table in there.

We ordered nachos, quesadilla and a taco. The time it arrived was alarming quick. My order of nachos which let's face it, is NOT a hard dish to get wrong looked like something my cat would puke up slapped on some nachos with some jalapeños. And it was lukewarm. My partners dish was also lukewarm and clearly just microwaved and just inedible. We paid €25 as they wanted to charge us €35 when we clearly didn't touch the meal at all. Extremely disappointed. We had a lovely meal the night before with 2 huge authentic Italian pizzas and a a beer coming up to €23 which we were happy to leave a tip. How they have charged this for what we were served is atrocias. No fault on the waiter, she was lovely. The food...

This was honestly the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. The place was a mess, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Communication was tough since they didn’t speak English, but thankfully the waitress spoke Spanish, so I could at least communicate with her.

The beef burrito was cold and very bland with barely anything inside. The sides were laughable—three tortilla chips and the smallest portion of rice I’ve ever seen. They were also incredibly stingy with sauces. I asked for one sauce and got a completely different one, hoping it would help me choke down the burrito.

The chicken fajitas were slightly better, but the menu advertised them with rice, and they came with cold flour tortillas instead. When I asked the waitress about it, she said they’re made differently and not to pay attention to the menu. If it’s going to be different, don’t advertise it that way.

The waitress was kind and clearly doing her best, so I felt bad since none of this was her fault. Still, the owner seriously needs to step up their game because everything else...

The manager was nice. But it seems like there was some kind of drama or inefficiency between him and his staff, it was a little awkward. They don't have chorizo idk what they gave me when I ordered it but it def wasn't chorizo you'd get anywhere. It had no flavor. I paid for the dish because idk I just got my taxes back so I got a lil extra money so I guess I just didn't wanna make a big deal about it. It's def a very effortless resturant with how they make food. It just doesn't seem fresh. I saw all the reccent reviews and I was hoping they were wrong but I basically was left feeling the same. The tacos weren't bad but they made them and then argued about whose tacos they were and just sat them somewhere and then randomly gave them to me. The guacamole is good and the drinks are good but I regret coming here and wasting my time and money. I feel bad saying all that because everyone was nice but it was...

We had been excited to have Mexican food after travelling for a long time. However, this was an extremely disappointing experience. The food was the most basic, microwaved, cold and least flavourful we’ve ever tasted. We ordered 1 cheese and 1 chorizo quesadilla, as well as a beef burrito. The quesadillas seemed like they were wraps on special from the supermarket, with some cheap grated, but not fully melted cheese. The quesadillas were also microwaved and arrived to the table rubbery and cold. The beef burrito had little to no flavour and was super small and the rice side was cold. Considering it was only microwaved, the food did come quite quickly. Overall, it was over priced for some below average food, which a 12 year old could do better. In addition, they only accepted cash, because they apparently had ‘no internet.’ Definitely not recommending or returning.

The food was ok, definitely not authentic. The restaurant itself and its decoration are out of place, mixture of irrelevant elements = lack of effort. I would have classified it as an uneventful probably-won’t-come-back dinning experience not until we received the bill! We asked for a pitcher of frozen margarita, which is NOT on the menu believe it or not, for a “Mexican restaurant”. It was a bit watery and was served with ice not crushed, you can see cubes inside! When I got the bill I immediately laughed then felt insulted!!😂😂 don’t know how they pulled that off charging so much for what it was… if you are ready to spend €30 per person in Genova, I guarantee you’ll receive so much more on all aspects than what you could from this place!
