Strakkino — Restaurant in Genoa

We were "greeted" by a waitress slamming a QR code on the table and just saying "menu" before walking off. We ordered two pizzas and a focaccia with pesto. One of the pizzas and the focaccia were average at best, but edible. The other pizza, however, had no base despite it saying "fresh tomato" as it's first ingredient on the menu. It was also burnt to the point where it was inedible and literally painful to eat. Although, we were able to get this pizza taken off the bill by asking the waitress who hadn't greeted us originally. We were also charged a €3 fee for "coperto", despite receiving nothing such as water or bread to warrant this. The restaurant may argue that the coperto is just for the table itself, however many other Genovan restaurants don't charge this fee. Therefore, I would look elsewhere for a nice meal in Genoa...

Worst experience ever! Nobody is greeting you at the entrance. It’s supposed to be a restaurant not a fast food. Nobody talked to us and we’ve waiting for at least 30 min like this. I wanted to leave but my friend saw previous reviews and really wanted to try. Oh boy!!! Horrible!!! Really bad people in here. They knew that we were here because at some point they saw us but nobody came!!! I don’t know what kind of people can act like this. It’s a restaurant. If you don’t like people or tourist, don’t work there!!! Any the food was not even good. We were treated as garbage. Never in my life I’ve experienced something like this. If I could put no star at all, I would. Italy is a beautiful place but those type of bad experience, not wishing...

Arredamento 7,5 Siamo andati a mangiare nel loro nuovo locale di Sestri Ponente. Al suo interno è molto minimal ma allo stesso tempo elegante e con una combinazione di colori riuscita. Buona disponibilità di posti al suo interno.

Menù 7,5 Strakkino rappresenta la concretizzazione di un progetto di cinque giovani amici con l’obiettivo di proporre i prodotti della tradizione ligure in un modo differente. I prodotti “bandiera” sono La Strakkino, La Moreskina (anche nelle versioni BIG e BIG Special con ingredienti gourmet) e La Taskina, ai quali si sono affiancati numerosi dolci oltre alle sfiziose Fokaccette ripiene di formaggio. Il loro menù comprende una vasta scelta di "Moreskine" e "Taskina" tra cui scegliere, una vasta scelta che si riflette anche su birra e vini. Per la nostra cena abbiamo ordinato una focaccia al formaggio con aggiunta di pesto e una classica focaccia al formaggio per la mia fidanzata. Le focacce sono risultate molto buone e gustose, cotte e farcite benissimo. La quantità di formaggio e di pesto al loro interno è ottima. Come dolce ho scelto una gustosissima Taskina farcita di Nutella, se siete amanti come me di questa crema spalmabile ne rimarrete innamorati di questo dolce, molto consigliato. L'altro dolce, invece, era una torta della nonna. Purtroppo non di loro produzione, e si sente la differenza con i tanti dolci artigianali che abbiamo provato nei vari locali.

Conto 8 Onestamente pensavamo di spendere di più, il conto è molto onesto includendo bevande e dolci.

Qualità prezzo 8 Ottimo locale in cui potrete gustare un'ottima focaccia al formaggio e le specialità della casa come la moreskina o la Taskina. Il servizio al tavolo è molto efficace ed i prezzi sono onesti in rapporto a quello...
