Ristorante Thermopolium da Salva — Restaurant in Genoa

The waiter was rude, discouraging and couldn't offer anything without garlic on which my partner is allergic. Then he took the table setting from her even though I had placed the order. Only another waitress was able to suggest to prepare a dish without garlic and brought back the cover. After a short time, the waiters approached us, allegedly asking us if they could take the covers (even though we had not finished eating yet) and they really wanted to get rid of us as soon as possible and have free table for another "victims". I went to Ristorante Thermopolium in Genoa with a friend. I had the fish cooked in a potato crust, and my friend had spaghetti frutti di mare. We enjoyed our food, which was tasty, well-cooked, and came in generous portions. The restaurant is located on the beautiful Passeggiata Anita Garibaldi in Nervi, offering a stunning sea view that adds to the dining experience. We enjoyed a gorgeous July sunset, and the staff were exceptionally kind, making us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a leisurely meal. Prices were reasonable for the quality and location. Overall, it was an amazing evening, and I’d recommend Ristorante Thermopolium to anyone looking for authentic Ligurian cuisine...

'24 Siamo ritornati anche quest'anno e riconfermiamo le buone sensazioni sotto-descritte sulla qualita' della cucina e dei piatti degustati, del buon servizio del cameriere Giulio e della magnifica location.....l'unica pecca sono i prezzi che sono aumentati di circa il 30% .....come ormai tutti i ristoranti in Italia dopo il covid 🫤.....pur mantendo GRATUITO il coperto ed il servizio 👍.....vedi ricevuta allegata x un pranzo x 4 persone.

Dicembre '21 Sono stato con mia moglie in questo ristorante dopo diversi anni e devo ammettere che e' rimasto come prima, se non migliorato nelle proposte di nuovi piatti. La posizione e' stupenda, nei giorni di bel tempo, in quanto e' sulla passeggiata pedonale a mare di Nervi, con tavoli all'aperto e vista sulla scogliera ed il mare sottostante ed il sole che ti "bacia" dal mattino alla sera, con un magnifico tramonto finale. I piatti proposti giornalmente, sono presentati dai 2 giovani e gentili camerieri su delle piccole lavagnette, noi abbiamo degustato delle trofie al pesto e fagiolini (accomodate), una orata alla ligure al forno,con patate, pomodori,pinoli ed olive, uno stoccafisso accomododato, con un sugo denso di patate,pomodori,pinoli e spezie mediterranee, tutti buonissimi e cucinati al momento, con 2 quartini di buon vino locale,bianco e rose' e dei biscottini fatti in casa,con una crema di zabaglione caldo come dessert, …..ed era talmente buono che abbiamo fatto il bis 😋😋....ma di buoni dolci ne hanno una gran scelta, tutti fatti in casa e di tutti i gusti (vedi foto allegate) Abbiamo terminato il pranzo con 2 caffe', x un totale di 60 Euro, che ritengo un ottimo prezzo, visto la qualita' e la quantita' dei piatti degustati. Per rendere meglio l'idea,vi allego le foto dei piatti, ma se volete provarli non dovete  che andare a provarli direttamente sul posto,(vi consiglio una prenotazione anticipata) in qualche bella giornata di sole,non ve ne pentirete di sicuro….e potrete anche  dimenticarvi,almeno x qualche ora, di essere...
