10€ for a very sad-looking and not tasty "Il Genovese" mixed starter that was missing the Russian salad that was indicated on the menu. When we asked where that was, they responded that they ran out and so they had replaced the salad with two mini foccacias as they usually only give one (those 2 things in the middle....that has GOT to be a joke). Husband ordered a pesto lasagna and we got something that didn't look at all like a lasagna unless that's how a pesto lasagna is supposed to look like? They also serve chestnut gnocchi with pesto, that were also very good. I liked the location as well, as you can sit outside in the cute tiny streets of Genova. Beautiful experience that was very authentic… so authentic that our meal ended speaking broken Spanish/Italian with the chef himself and his wife about himself and life and his restaurant. He assured us that our experience (as tourists) is the exact same as anyone else who comes - be it his family, local Genovese, or Italians from other cities.
