First off, big plus is that they took the two of us in without a dinner reservation. Since the weather was nice that day, we didn’t mind sitting outside. (There were still space outside so wouldn’t fuss too much about booking unless you’re determine to sit inside). It’s a little noisy as there’s some sort of gym/fitness class next door so you could kind of hear a dude shouting instructions the whole time (~7.30-8.30pm on Friday). Didn’t bother us much though! Also, it was a spacious alley/pathway with a lot of families and teenagers passing by. Great lighting. Definitely a vibe. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. There was one staff member who spoke english well, which we’re always grateful for as it makes the experience less pain for all parties involved :”) The food was pretty good! The pesto tasted much better (fresher somehow?) from any other I’ve tried outside of Italy. It was paired with potato gnocchi which was yummy though they were softer than I expected. I recommend this dish. The ravioli was also pretty good but I’d recommend trying something else from the menu as it tasted similar to other pasta beef ragu that I’ve eaten before. The highlight though was definitely the tiramisu. The cream was… wow… would recommend this! I wouldn’t recommend the house wine.

Genoa city center, located on a corner facing a tiny square, over the summer it's possible to sit on the street and enjoy the vibe of the fascinating old town. We had some house white wine together with the typical choices from the menu: trenette with pesto, minestrone Genovese and baccalà ligure. Simple, tasty, amazing. Three courses and wine with less than 50€. Worths every cent!

This is a really typical osteria genovese where you can find traditional dishes, such as cappon magro. I personally loved their cuisine. The staff is friendly, the location is very minimal and simple. Highly Recommended if you wanna try the Genoana tradition.

TOURISTS BEWARE We were 3 French women, and tried to get a table there. The restaurant was full, but the waiter told us that we may get a table (it was 9pm). However, the staff was uncertain, giving us no yes or no answer. We decided to wait. A first table of two Italians was sat before us (they arrived before us, so nothing out of the ordinary). A second table of 3 Italians, that arrived after us, was sat without a booking. We left, disgusted by the blatant racism. If you're a tourist, go elsewhere, there's plenty of amazing restaurants that will welcome you...

We stumbled upon this trattoria on the last day of our holiday. Since we did not make a reservation, they were kind enough to offer us a table inside for approx an hour. This was more than enough time since they served the food very quickly. We both ordered the ravioli and it was the best dish we've had in Genova. For desert we went for the tiramisu and the chereau, both delicious. We want to say thank you for the delicious food, and quick and friendly service. We had a great last evening...
