Absolutely disgusting service. Me and wife walked in the city and decided to drop here for the lunch. We waited for a minute after entering, then found a waiter (woman 45-50 years old) and asked if we could seat and eat something. I don’t why but she was not very glad to see us. Having several free tables she pointed on the most uncomfortable. I defined “this one?” and got aggressive intonation answer “si”. No menu was given. After a minute two Italian guys asked for a table and they got good table, menu and explanation about menu. But I did not give up and went to the bar=) As we were in Genova just for three hours and had further a long trip I also asked a girl with a short hair in the bar to charge my phone (I had a phone and charger). On the wall near her there were two or three free sockets. She said she doesn’t know if she can allow that=) and called another woman with black mid-length hair. After 30-second consultation i received a verdict: no, you can’t charge your phone. Of course without explanation) Guys, it was the first time for my 34-year old life when I was not allowed to charge phone in a restaurant. As you understand there was no a single reason to stay. And as you suspect, noone stopped us=) May be the problem was that we are not Italian, but such behavior is rather strange for 21 century). I was in Italy 6 or 7 times and always found absolutely fantastic food, service and people. I didn’t have a chance to explore food in this place, but i perfectly explored service and people: there is something...
Read moreIf i could i would give 3,5/5 and not 3/5😅 The service is very good, the staff is very kind and the the atmosphere is just as we expect an atmosphere to be when we eat in a Ligurian restaurant. I'm living in Genoa for a long time so i've been able to try many Ligurian restaurants here and also in the others cities in the cost. I don't like comparing so i would say the food is good but for exemple if you take the Milanese, the fries are just industrial ones which is a shame cause it could be even better and so then doesn't worth the price but my mum isn't a picky eater so she ate it ! i've taken the trofie, it was delicious and worthy and my dad has taken the fried fish mix, was good but according to me the portion was a bit light, i've seen so many restaurants doing this plate and the amount of food was more important ! Apart of it i've been very happy eating here and will come back with pleasure to eat...
