Just great ice cream. We were on vacation at lario for a week and ate ice cream every day at different places (obviously). We have been to Como, Tremezzo , Menaggio and Varenna and boy oh boy, are we glad to try this one out at the last day of our vacation. Never in my life before did I order Tiramisu ice cream that has been actual Tiramisu (instead of Tiramisu flavoured ice cream)! The quality of the ice cream was ruined by the rudeness of the staff. As someone who lives abroad, I asked for information about two ice cream flavors that were new to me, and I was told, "If you weren't too young to have senile dementia." Seriously the best ice cream I've tasted, and I had a lot of it in my life. Coming from Germany, I've tried many original italian Gelaterias, even the most favourite ones in Germany altogether, but none of it was comparable with La Carapina. Unfortunately I couldn't convince the owner to move business...
