La Forgia — Restaurant in Lazise

We never tried the hotel. Just the restaurant and in the very high season What a positively surprising experience. The waiter was curtios and pleasant. Spoke good English, took his time with us asking many questions (my wife is very "inquisitive"). The house wine was great. The food portions are big and fairly priced and very good (like really). All in all, in a trip where we felt the high season is taking its toll on the service providers this one was just perfect. Honestly it salvaged what felt like a trip in the wrong season yo visit with the weather being extremely hot and people were behaving exceptionally unpleasant. We came from Germany last year and stayed at Camere La Forgia, and were both really surprised with the view, how clean our room was, and our hosts incredibly helpful - taking time to answer our questions before and during our stay! Absolut nicht. Wir haben zwar relativ schnell einen Platz bekommen / sind geparkt worden.

Auf eine simple Getränkebestellung musste man schon fast bestehen. Ich nehme es vorweg, wir wurden in den anschließendem 45 Minuten Wartezeit kein einziges Mal mehr nach unserem Getränkewunsch gefragt. Die Gläser standen lange leer auf dem Tisch.

Die Vorspeise, Melone mit Schinken, lies lange auf sich warten. Für 14 Euro 3 Bötchen Melone mit Schinken und welke Salatblätter und angetrockneten Orangenscheiben als Deko.

Mit der Getränkebestellung wurde auch das Essen bestellt. Es wurde uns das erste mal mulmig, als fast alle Gäste um uns schon ihr Essen bekommen hatten. Nach 45 Minuten waren unsere Nudeln ( recht simpel für jede Küche) immer noch nicht da.

Wir baten um die Rechnung und bezahlten alles, bis auf die Nudeln.

Wir bekamen eine kleine Entschuldigung - jaaaa heute ist viel los..... dabei wurden viele Tische schon wieder neu eingedeckt.

So ein Laden verdient es nicht, an einem so schönen Ort zu bedienen.
