Ristorante Pizzeria Tropical — Restaurant in Lazise

1.5 hours waiting for a pizza!

Unfortunately I can't rate the food in the pizzeria because we waited 1.5 hours for our food until we finally left the restaurant

The waiters are inattentive to uninterested. After the drinks were served it took an hour until someone came back to the table after several hand signals.

Then we broke off, paid and left. To make matters worse, we were still charged "Coperto". A cheeky one...

Meanwhile the waiters were more busy removing a drunken and mobbing guest from the restaurant and getting almost into a fight with him in a loud argument. Instead of just expel him from the site. The restaurant manager had to hold the waiters back in order to prevent a brawl. All this in front of the guests.

Quite a nice place with great Italian pizza. They make it in the oven, thus the quality of the dough is high and so is the taste. The place is next to the lake and a walking promenade. So you can enjoy the view while eating, but there will be people passing by. Also the tables are located quite close to each other, but in general quite ok. The servers do kind of a great job… they try to get you to the table, but once there, the friendliness becomes less, but maybe it is because of how many people eat there. Be prepared that pizzas are coming out a bit longer compared to pasta, I think because of the popularity, but they are worth the wait. They have nice aperitifs options, but do ask for the bar card. All in all a good place to eat...

Pizzeria Tropical is in a fantastic location right in the heart of Lazise, perfect for enjoying a meal while taking in the atmosphere of Lake Garda. The food was definitely the highlight – the seafood pasta was excellent: fresh, tasty, and served in a generous portion. The penne with pesto was also very good and well prepared.

The restaurant is busy, which is always a good sign, and the female waiters were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel looked after. Unfortunately, the service from one of the male staff members let the experience down, as his customer service skills could definitely use some improvement.
