Caffè della Lupa — Restaurant in Lecce

Me and my friend sat at this cafe for a little break. We were very disappointed with the food. As you can see in the picture. The pizza was moldy! I told the not necessarily welcoming/ friendly waiter that there’s mold in my pizza. He just took it a way without saying a thing, than came back with a different type of pizza, that I never ordered to replace my moldy one!! The apology was very silent and still had the audacity to charge us for that. A little more communication would have been very helpful but instead we got the silenced treatment. I found it disrespectful and therefore can’t recommend this...

As of August 2023: "How much is a coffee?" "Uhh here's a menu" "Oh looks decent" "Sorry, that's an old menu, the real menu is at the QR code turned away from you in the deepest corner of the place" "Why do you give it to people then... Okay, so the prices are higher, whatever, I want coffee" (Ends up paying servizio too, this isn't a bar...) Thumbs up if you had the "old" menu handed to you too.

I traveled in Italy for 3 weeks and found the coffee here to be the worst (or maybe second worst... I once had a thimble-sized "espresso" at the beach) coffee of the whole trip. It was granular, bitter, and tasted like muddled water. Maybe I should realize that the sign outside that says "Probably the worst coffee in town" was not ironic!
