I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant, and I cannot praise it enough. The food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere was just as impressive. To start, I had the octopus on a polenta bed. The octopus was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the creamy polenta provided a wonderful contrast in texture and taste. My friend chose the seafood carbonara. This dish was a delightful twist on the classic carbonara, incorporating fresh seafood that elevated the flavors to a whole new level. Ho pensato molto prima di lasciare questa recensione perché io e mio marito siamo stati fra i primi clienti e poi siamo rimasti fedeli nel tempo tanto da scegliere l'osteria e soprattutto lui ed i suoi piatti come parte del nostre giorno speciale..il nostro matrimonio..premetto andando di sera come clienti affezionati ricevevamo saluti da parte dello chef,un ambiente di casa..poi abbiamo comunicato che lui era la nostra scelta per un giorno che nella nostra vita sarebbe stato unico..abbiamo fatto gli assaggi,per scegliere il menù,in molte sere concordate il luogo era chiuso o si era dimenticato che dovevamo andare,ma fa nulla,può accadere,è un lavoro stressante e comprendendo siamo tornati..dopo aver ripetuto mille volte quanto fosse ristretto il pranzo perché era una cosa sentita e non per fare numeri,siamo arrivati ad un curioso "tu per tu" dove lui mi ha detto che visto il numero potevamo scegliere dal menù senza fare assaggi come avesse perso tempo,come se quel giorno e quel aver voluto lui non valesse nulla..arriva quel giorno,lo chef non è mai uscito a fare gli auguri,mai per sapere se i commensali stavano bene,nulla sparito,i miei nipoti si sono avvicinati alla finestrella da cui si affaccia,neanche la simpatia di affacciarsi per loro..il cameriere non era preparato,abbiamo spiegato noi i piatti ai nostri parenti,tutti molto perplessi,abbiamo chiesto noi che venissero portate posate pulite,tutto fatto come fosse un giorno da nulla,tutti l'hanno notato e alla fine ce lo hanno fatto notare..abbiamo smesso di andare in questo locale..quando tornammo il giorno dopo per pendere la torta lo stesso non ci è stato chiesto come era andata,come a fine pranzo quel giorno ho dovuto chiedere io "lo chef esce o no?!"..alla fine abbiamo avuto più riguardo andando la sera come semplici clienti che in un giorno unico che avendolo scelto come unico posto..i piatti valgono...

Lovely small restaurant away from the tourist traps. Great vibe inside with very hospitable staff. Special thanks to the young guy with long hair (sorry forgot to ask his name) who took time to go through the menu with me and offered his personal recommendations. I had pasta with fresh porcini mushroom - absolutely delicious with generous amount of mushroom.
