We had the most amazing meal and evening here last night and if they were open today, we would absolutely be going back. The food is exceptional, as is the service and the welcoming treatment by the owners and the staff. We had the creamed beans and chicory with shrimp, which was perfection in a dish; the cuttlefish and cucumber salad, so fresh and so delicious; the grilled octopus and potatoes, perfectly prepared with the octopus crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside; and the orchiaetta with anchovies and chicory, which we wanted to try and had no idea how spectacular it was going to be. Mauro suggested perfect local wines to pair, and he and Elena were the nicest and most welcoming owners, making sure we enjoyed our time with them. They even brought out the chef to meet us because we were raving about the food. And their two young staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. From the breads to the tiramisu, this restaurant did not miss a beat. We are huge foodies and this was everything you could ask for in both quality of food and overall experience. It’s a beautiful spot, run by a beautiful couple, serving beautiful cuisine. Can’t recommend...

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant on my birthday, 24.08. We chose this place for dinner based on some decent reviews, but it was a huge mistake.

Firstly, even though we were the only guests for a long time, we were denied a table in the alley due to "reservations" and were seated on the noisy street. When we left, all the tables were still empty (and they remained unoccupied throughout our entire dinner).

The service was non-existent. The host was overly friendly in a fake way and didn't provide any real service. The waitstaff didn't speak English, and it seemed their Italian wasn't good either. They also kept looking at us as if we were about to leave without paying. There was no drink recommendation, no checking on how we were doing, or how we liked the food—just zero service. I've never experienced anything like it.

The food was mediocre at best, especially for the price. Small portions, average taste—you can find much better options for this price with far superior service.

Overall, what was supposed to be a special birthday evening was ruined. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent...

The food was just ok, with some of the dishes taste, although some of them overpriced for the potions given, which were very small in most cases. Also the bread was hard and clearly from 2 o 3 days ago.

However; the worst of all was the service. They simply lied to us without a problem. We ordered Cappelloni and the brought Orecchiette without asking nor telling anything. Only when we asked the second time they told us that they ran out of Cappelloni so they had to change. On top that, they were joking about tourists with some Italian people seating in another table. This is the first time in my life I had to experience something like this. Disrespectful at the very least.

And the last touch was that they also charged us for the Amaro (digestive).

I can say with confidence that this was the worst service I ever...

Absolutely the best meal we have had in the almost 2 weeks in all of Italy. We started with the Crema di fave and it was so wonderful, I wish I had ordered two to make it my main course! Then we shared the Orecchiette con cime di rapa, again sooo good! And if that wasn’t enough, we both had their nightly special of sea bass and it was so tender and flavorful! I have said ai will not go back to the same restaurant twice because of so many choices but I will be coming back to Pietrabianca before we leave! Do not miss this place!!!

EAT HERE!!! The server was so warm and friendly, the spot is on such a cute street, and the food was incredible. We had the swordfish ceviche, tuna tartare and the fava bean appetizers which were all amazing. The ravioli with beef ragu was hands down one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. The server pushed us on ordering the semifreddo for dessert which we initially declined but caved after a while, and it was SO WORTH IT. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. 10/10

Food was some of the best we had in all of puglia! Excellent starter (frise with tomato and burrata) and sensational pastas (we had the Paccheri with Podolica Ragu and the Paccheri with prawns, stracciatella, and fresh tomatoes) and the service was amazing. Our server was so friendly and gave us great recommendations. We sat outside and had the most stunning views of the local architecture. What an amazing find!!
