Lovely dining experience. I stumbled across this little local restaurant down the backstreets to my hotel yesterday and what a find! The meal started with a delightful and unique grilled octopus served with a smooth pumpkin cream—an unusual combination that was very tasty, and worked well. For the main course, I enjoyed a delicious local pasta with a squid, tomato and turmeric sauce, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. The meal ended on a high note with the best homemade tiramisu I've ever had! All washed down with two glasses of easy to drink house red wine. The service was impeccable, with easy going, polite, helpful, and humble staff who made the evening even more enjoyable with their warm smiles and gentle manner. As a solo diner, it was appreciated. Ieri sera per festeggiare un evento per me molto importante ,con una lunga ricerca io e il mio compagno abbiamo scelto questo ristorante. Le recensioni che avevo letto erano molto positive quindi avendo già scelto altri locali per mangiare pesce a Livorno questa volta si voleva cambiare. Un locale molto semplice ma ben curato e pulito....Menu' con possibilità di scelta tra pesce e carne. Una pagina dedicata appositamente alla spiegazione di come vengono lavorati gli alimenti per chi a problemi di intolleranze.....Poi tre o quattro scelte di antipasti sia di pesce o carne così come per i primi ed i secondi. Piatti non della solita facilità nel trovarli. Infatti noi abbiamo scelto un antipasto misto di mare ,composto da assaggini di cozze,salmone insalata di mare e polpo calde di una bontà come poche e un tortino caldo anch'esso strepitoso. Come primi abbiamo scelto tagliolini all'uovo uno con sugo di orata e gallinella e l'altro primo che doveva essere con pasta corta ma io preferisco quella lunga e sono stati molto disponibili a poter tramutare i fusilli con pesto di pistacchio e gamberi con i tagliolini. Buoni lambè due ma quello con sugo di gallinella e orata sono stati veramente eccezionali. Per secondo baccalà con patate che così buoni e difficile trovarne. Un sapore delicato e piacevole che ci ha fatto veramente quasi chiedere il bis. Per terminare il dolce....scomposta di crema schantilli' .....buona anche quella....insomma che dire.....una cena gustare con calma in un ambiente piacevole e tranquillo. Il personale giovanile ben organizzato e sempre disponibile e presente. Complimenti davvero come ho fatto ieri sera prima di andare via ,mi sono permessa di fare i complimenti alle due persone addette alla cucina...Per finire il conto è stato del tutto in regola con ciò che abbiamo mangiato....Per il parcheggio c'è da cercare un po' ma si trova nelle vicinanze. Complimenti davvero. Tornerò...

This place is off the main tourist track but only a few hundred metres from the sea front it’s well worth a visit. We’d already decided to go there given the reviews and that we were staying close by. The hotel asked if we wanted them to suggest places to eat and when we said we we going here they simply said ‘good choice’. On arrival we were welcomed by friendly staff and with our broken Italian managed to order some food! As we made the effort they were keen to speak English though. Food was very good, not a huge choice on the menu but that’s a good sign as it’s all freshly prepared. Overall a very pleasant evening and...
