Gastronomia Vesuvio — Restaurant in Lungòni/Santa Teresa Gallura

It's the best food in the city with an amazing price performance ratio! The restaurant doesn't look fancy at all but the dishes blew us away! First the host is an amazing Italian woman which made us feel really cozy. Second the food is super super fresh with great seasonings. I ordered a mixed salad and became this huge bowl of fresh tomatoes, greens, eggs, mozzarella and so on. She put a side of olive oil and vinegar to it so I could mix my own dressing (which I love). My boyfriend ordered spaghetti with mussels. They were made in a delicious white wine tomato sauce. But it was not to saucy and the pasta perfectly al dente;)

In the end we became a limoncello and grappa for free. We loved it and came back the day after. Absolutely...

DELUSIONE Si arriva con grandi aspettative, anche leggendo le varie recensioni che narrano faville. La nostra esperienza è stata meno idilliaca. SERVIZIO LENTO: quasi un'ora di attesa, eppure i tavoli da servire non erano tanti. A parziale scusante si può dire che abbiamo ordinato una varietà di cose (chi pizza, chi antipasto e primi piatti, chi dei secondi). Però quasi un'ora senza segnali di vita, né per antipasti né per le patatine che avevamo chiesto per ingannare l'attesa... ANTIPASTI: le cozze al vino bianco davvero deludenti: accompagnate da un brodino insipido, mancava di sale, il profumo delle cozze assente ingiustificato coperto totalmente dalle cipolle (cipolle nelle cozze! Oddio...) PRIMI PIATTI: discreti gli spaghetti alle cozze (stavolta sugo e niente cipolle, menomale). Grande delusione, grandissima, per i tanto decantati scialatelli allo scoglio: qualche cozza, qualche arsella, un gambero (come annunciato nel menu) ma anche, ahinoi, uno sproposito di mediocri gamberetti surgelati, bianchi e plasticosi, insapori e inodori, a rovinare il tutto. Peccato davvero. Aumenta la sensazione di piatti per turisti, quelli da evitare. Peccato perché la pasta casereccia, non male in sè, avrebbe meritato un condimento migliore. VINO DELLA CASA: sotto ogni aspettativa. Nemmeno vermentino. Un vino vecchio e di bassa qualità. PIZZE: ahinoi, non abbiamo finito neppure quelle. Delusione. SECONDI: cotolette, già nelle premesse con bassa aspettativa...cibo surgelato o comunque industriale. IMPRESSIONE GENERALE SUL LOCALE: una gastronomia/pizzeria da asporto trasformata per l'estate in locale con servizio al tavolo. Servizi igienici ricavati in uno stanzino che si affaccia direttamente sulle cucine🙄. CONCLUSIONI: troppa attesa, cibo sotto le aspettative, piatti di punta come gli scialatielli accompagnati da un condimento deludente e ingredienti di bassa qualità. Pizze non...

Me and my wife decided to go Vesuvio because it’s very close to the main square and the ratings were quite good. Unfortunately it was a HUGE dissapointment. Simple pasta was terrible. Honestly it was well boiled spagetti with scrumbled eggs. Dry and tasteless. I cant remeber such bad pasta. What is more in my pasta I hardly could find any meat. Just a lot of mushrooms which looked exactly like few tiny pieces of meat I’ve managed to find. Avoid this place. There is a huge number of ristorsntes every corner uncomperable to this...
