Al Fresco — Restaurant in Milan

Overall it was a positive experience. The venue is elegant, with a welcoming atmosphere that strikes a good balance between sophistication and comfort. Despite being full, the noise level was acceptable and did not interfere with conversation.

The food was of good quality, and each dish was presented with care. The courses were well-balanced, and the flavors met expectations. However, the desserts were the least impressive part of the meal: they didn’t capture the same attention to detail and perfection as the main dishes.

The service, though polite, could be improved. One aspect I found a bit off-putting was the insistence on trying to sell additional dishes and drinks, which somewhat detracted from the experience.

As for the price, it’s on the medium-high side: our bill for an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert (without wine) was 70 euros per person, which I consider fair for the quality of the dishes, but not...

Really shame, worse service ever! We came to arrange an event and agree on the menu for our guests, however a longhair “gentleman” called himself “manager” told us that they are not arranging any events and its just a place to come and order from their menu, despite the statement on their web and promises during phone conversation! I fully agree with all comments about arrogant and unprofessional staff that definitely is NOT worse your MONEY! Even a “famous” terrazze is much tinier than on the pictures and wish for renovation some time ago, while there is similar place just across the corder with better terrazze, amazing food and for the half of the price! I’m curious to meet an owner of “al fresco” paying his staff for negative publicity and no idea about Clients service! Dont be mislead by the pictures from the internet, the reality is very oposite! Came here on a Sunday evening without a reservation, and they graciously accommodated us. The restaurant is beautiful. The service was the best we had our entire trip, and the food was incredible. The menu is a wonderful mix between traditional Milanese dishes and more modern twists on Italian cuisine. Our server, Gabriel, was an absolute delight and truly made us feel special—he was knowledgeable and guided us through the menu beautifully, including helping us to select a wine and extensively reviewing the dessert menu with us. The magic cake is a must! As is the ceviche, it is mind blowing! This was truly such a great find, and I would recommend it for a romantic evening or a night of celebration.
