We are glad to be back in Avgvsto Gelateria. The selection of gelato is extensive. Choices are always difficult.
Eat-in
We had the followings at the shop: (1) Pistachio & salty (2)Almond Avola (3)Sicilian cream (4)Ginger (5)Salty caramel & pecan nuts (6)Mandarin (7)Gianduia
Avgvsto gelato gives a silky soft texture, adequate sweetness, sapidity, balanced harmony of tastes, and is not greasy at all. Each flavour has its own personality and stays in the mouth for a while.
Take-away
We had take-away for (1) - (4) . Stefano and the team packed it very well. Our journey from his shop to home is 4 hours by public transport. The 4 tubs of gelato stays in great condition and consistency upon arrival!
Now, we can tuck-in hearty spoons of Avgvsto gelato at home.

What made it even better was how smooth the whole experience was. Luckily, one of the girls working there spoke English, so ordering was super easy. She was really friendly and helpful, which added to the overall vibe of the place.
I’ve tried a lot of gelato in different places, and I’d honestly say this spot is one of the best. It’s definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cone or hanging out for a coffee, this shop...

The scoop is 1.6 (compare to 3.75 euros for watery whatever in Stuttgart). There are few tables inside and couple benches outside. They also serve coffee. The girls working extremely nice ad helpful. Bring cash to tip. The ice cream parlor is not far from Navigli, take an ice and stroll there for an afternoon drink. Btw, the place is always roaming with locals, what else do you need to know? And by all means, don't do Grom - it is a chain for tourists with...
