Ofelé. Caffè & Coccole. — Restaurant in Milan

Judging by other similar reviews I believe this place will soon go down due to poor management. Initially I wanted to book a table earlier in the morning but was told -very sternly- by the person on the phone that we would have to finish within 90min, so I ended up choosing lunch time to have a more relaxed time with friends. Evidently they didn't care to apply the same strict or stern rules to the table that was sitting at what was supposed to be "our" table, since we ended up waiting around 20min to get seated. During this time other customers, who seemed to had their name on a waiting list, were entering the place. I don't get the point of asking people to make reservations ahead of time if they are also gonna have a queue outside... The place barely has 10 tables and the management seems to think that they can accomodate bookings and a waiting list? The service is also lacking. I guess their kitchen was at full capacity so they chose to bring us the desserts first, without giving us a warning or even asking us whether we preferred to wait for the main dish. We had to repeat several requests to the staff because they would just forget that we had asked for something. Food was ok but not worth the price considering...

Worst eatery in Milano. If you want to come here, don’t bother, you will be rejected at the foot of the restaurant. Don’t waste your time here. There are other better places to spend your hard earned money at.

My friends did intensive research and travelled across Milano to try their food despite the previous reviews who commented that their service was terrible but their food was acceptable.

We came into the restaurant and requested for 9 seats. The eatery was 30% full. We assured the staff that we were ok to split up into a 2-3 tables. The staff went into to confirm with the manager if this was possible and the manager came up with an irrational reason that they don’t serve groups larger than 7. But it was clearly made up excuse to reject our business.

If the service is this bad, imagine the taste of their food.

But all hope was not lost, we walked down 900m into another cafe, Hygge and were extremely pleased with...

With so much potential, One gets attention. I took a long waited journey, To get a cafe, called Ofele.

We took a seat inside, Only pancakes on my mind. Yet, I could not resist a toast, That's what people order most.

I never saw the toast I yearned, It was lost and noone heard. So they promised me another, I hoped it was not a bother.

Yet, it took them 40 minutes, And arrived in different pieces. Someone forgot, again. I was in a hurry then.

With the check came a surprise, A double charge is my price. Where that came from I never learned. Staff said this I earned.. 😢

I left feeling sad and no pancake could cheer. I've been robbed, I had such troublesome fear.

A place with huge potential. Pancakes are super(buckwheat), but otherwise I would avoid if you do not want to pay extra and get some odd lines on the check. If they would get their service on bar, it would easily be one of the best...
