Absolutely EXCEPTIONAL – both the food and the service! Honestly, I’ve never eaten in a better restaurant in my life. Normally, when we’re on holiday, we never go back to the same restaurant twice because we like to try different places – but here we came back, and we couldn’t be happier about that decision!

Service From the moment you walk in, you can feel that the staff truly care about their guests, without ever being pushy – which is fantastic. On both occasions (14th and 16th of August), we were served outside by the canal, and our waiter was simply beyond words. The most professional, kind, and attentive waiter we’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by – a huge thank you to him! Also, the manager on those days (an Italian who speaks excellent Polish) was wonderful as well. When he found out we were from Poland, he came over and had a lovely conversation with us, which we appreciated very much.

Food Just outstanding. We tried the rabbit ravioli, prawn risotto, and linguini with clams – every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. We also sampled board of hams and most of the desserts, and every single one was equally perfect.

Restaurant This place stands out among others in the area. While many nearby restaurants are covered with flashy signs and promotions, this one is elegant and refined. We sat by the canal each time, but both the inside and the garden are also absolutely beautiful.

Overall This restaurant truly deserves the highest praise – for its amazing staff, outstanding food, and stunning setting. Once again, thank you so much for the wonderful experience. To our fantastic waiter – and to the whole team – we are truly grateful....

Nestled along the picturesque Navigli canals, this restaurant offers a quintessential Milanese dining experience with a perfect blend of ambiance, great food, and friendly service. The setting by the canal is idyllic, especially in the evening when the reflections on the water create a magical, romantic atmosphere. The menu showcases Italian classics with a modern flair. The highlight of our meal was a perfectly cooked lamb rack, served with a unique side of grilled lettuce. The char on the lettuce brought out its subtle smoky flavour, which paired beautifully with the rich, tender lamb. For dessert, we were treated to a stunning selection, we went with. The crème brûlée was infused with Ferrero Rocher, creating a silky, nutty treat with a delicate caramelised sugar top. A delicious Pavlova with seasonal fruits— light, airy, and bursting with fresh flavours paired with the obligatory Espresso (Doppio for me) and Limoncello digestive, it was the perfect finale Special mention goes to our waiter, Carmine, who was simply fantastic. His warmth, attention to detail, and expert knowledge of both the menu and wine list truly elevated our experience. His recommendation of a bold, local red wine perfectly complemented the lamb, and his non-alcoholic cocktail creation-a house made grape juice, non alcoholic Gin, and ginger beer blend-was equally impressive. With Carmine's impeccable service, alongside the excellent food and welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant is a must-visit when in Milan. Whether for a romantic evening or a relaxed meal by the canal, you're in for a memorable dining experience. What a way to finish our month long 25th...

I give a 5star for the atmosphere, great restaurants were seen at both side long stretch of Naviglio canal. I visited this place several times, and experience had been great. While Bugande was our first time visit, service was excellent: swift & attentive. Finally come to the food: we ordered beef fillet at medium was so soft and maintained juicy in the inner, vongole pasta was delicious which graced by the super delicious gravy, and we wiped the plate clean with the bread. The bianco & rosso wine suggested by the manager was great & matching for the food we ordered. Verdict: great restaurant with great food at the great place. One point to take note is that for those who like the outdoors al fresco ambient & next to the canal, do take note that street peddlers who sometimes can be quite annoying, their persistency in pursue to buy roses, lighters and even power bank is amazing. If this is something that annoys you, it is advisable to sit indoor, as the street peddlers know their...
