Seriously dined at one of the best pasta restaurants I've ever experienced, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The pasta was cooked to perfection—smooth and delightfully chewy without being overly so. It arrived hot enough that when I added cheese, it melted instantly, enhancing the savory flavor beautifully.
The pork with potatoes was equally impressive. The meat effortlessly pulled away from the bone, juicy and flavorful, while the potatoes were seasoned just right.
For dessert, the tiramisu was creamy and delicious—perfectly balanced in sweetness without being too sweet, and just the right texture (not at all wet). To complement the meal, their house wine was served in a charming little jug and tasted fantastic.
The service was outstanding. One waiter, in particular, became a friend during my two visits in as many days. He was incredibly kind and attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations and even posing for a photo with me afterwards. His genuine warmth made the experience all the more special.
The atmosphere evoked the charm of a traditional Italian restaurant—culturally rich and heartwarming. Although the place was bustling with patrons, the lively ambiance didn't hinder conversation; we could still hear each other clearly. To top it off, there was a delightful music performance by the staff around 9 PM.
This gem of a restaurant is truly underrated! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic Italian...
Read moreMe and my sister came across this restaurant as it was close to our apartment so thought we’d give it a go. Wish we hadn’t of bothered to be honest. I have never seen such bad food and customer service in my life. I ordered the lamb meatballs and potatoes, it was awful. The presentation was diabolical, they were as dry as the safari desert and tasteless. Don’t bother ordering them if you do go to this restaurant. My sister had the garlic and chilli spaghetti which was as hard as twigs and tasteless also. We also noticed every other table but us had a bowl of bread which we thought was complimentary as everyone had one. But no.. we was not given one at all. The waiter sat us next to another couple so that made us feel like we were on a double date. The waiter that served us was not apologetic at all, he was rude. His customer service was appalling. We didn’t end up paying for anything as it was all disgusting and disappointing. We ended up going to bed hungry. If you happen to walk past this restaurant, I suggest you...
Read moreI can only rate this place with top marks. We came as a large group with no reservation and they seated us with the caveat that we had to leave by 9:30 (2h). In that time the service was outstanding. Starter - huge platters of salami, creamy burrata, crispy fried vegetables, and battered olives. We had a mix of main courses on the table and they all looked great but three of us decided to share two pasta dishes. Instead of just bringing out two plates and some small side plates they separated the pasta to three separate places with a small portion of each in each of the three plates! Above and beyond! And then at the end they placed a bottle of amaro and some glasses on the table for us to enjoy.
Were we asked very politely (almost apologetic despite us being told very clearly when we entered) to shuffle away at 9:30 like we’d been told at the start? Yes, of course. Did we have the best meal with fantastic food despite having no reservation? Also yes. This place is amazing and you will be treated very well and...
