If you are looking for a real hamburger, this is not the place. I asked to have my burger "rare", but they told me they can do it just medium or well done. I asked why, and they told me because of new rules. Well, my partner is a chef and I perfectly know there is no rule about it. When restaurant can not do the meat "rare" it means they precook it and they just heat up before serving it. When you eat it, you can taste the meat is not grilled, there is no mark of a grill at all.
The menu offer is very interesting and made me curious to try. Friendly staff and comfy atmosphere. The quality of the meat doesn't seem to be great though, and also the cooking is definitely not very good as my burger looked fried rather than grilled. For a place which is called 'properly made' this was a big disappointment. And the price was insane, 18€ (13£). Not coming back.
It's not hard to make a good burger: start with high quality meat and don't overcook it and you're halfway there. On the other hand, if you serve me chewy meat which has been cooking for too long, you've already lost me. The recipe was ok and they have a good choice, but they should improve...

Initially the order was brought to us wrong (forgot some chicken strips), but once they realized, those were expedited and brought to us in a matter of minutes. Read moreSono stato in questo ristorante oggi a pranzo per provare un nuovo locale. Il locale si presenta molto bene, moderno ed elegante e in perfetto ordine. Il menù propone un'ampia selezione di hamburger, uno più invitante dell'altro. La scelta infatti è stata estremamente difficile ma alla fine mi sono orientato sul contadino ha base di fassona, gorgonzola e pere. La scelta si è azzeccata appropriata e l'hamburger era molto saporito: la carne fresca e saporita, il gorgonzola forte e deciso ben bilanciato dalle fette di pera. Non bisogna dimenticarsi delle patatine di accompagnamento: assolutamente fresche e croccanti e fatte al momento. Se devo trovare alcune critiche ma puramente soggettive, esse sono le seguenti: avrei abbondato di più di gorgonzola, ma forse coprendo così il sapore della carne, e la carne l ho trovato un tantino avanti di cottura. Questo è stato un mio errore che non ho specificato come volevo la cottura. A parte queste due soggettivissime osservazioni, l'hamburger merita assolutamente. A concludere il pranzo, ho assaggiato la loro cheese cake. Si sentiva la freschezza del formaggio e la croccantezza della base di biscotti.
