Frijenno Magnanno — Restaurant in Milan

For my personal experience giving this place a five star! It’s more on a seafood Italian restaurant. Their seafood is excellent. We enjoyed every bit of the food we ordered. The server explains everything in English to us. Very helpful and very accommodating. We came here without reservation but gave us a choice if we want to wait half an hour or they have available counter table by the window, we choose the table counter and we are seated right away. Thankful indeed. The restaurant is very clean, dust free.. very good ambiance even though full of people.. full packed, so I “Recommend “ to make a reservation if you can.. for sure seating privilege. The pizza is excellent. At first we ordered one pizza, since it was so good, we ordered another different flavor and it was fabulous. Soooo delicious.. so fresh! We also ordered a whole fried fish. That was a good choice! A must try dish. The prices are not high for the quality of food. Good and affordable for most people. Another good catch Italian restaurant. I was here twice.

Both times the food was above average. Not something incredible but certainly worth to try.

I give 3 stars (thought about 2) only because of the service I encountered during my 2nd visit. Not sure whether the staff didn't like me because of my imperfect italian or for any other reason, but all the time I had a feeling that they treat me like a homeless beggar.

I asked to pack food for take-away twice (thanks for putting everything at the end to the pizza-box) and we had to somehow find a free space on our table for other plates. Three times asked for a dessert (eventually did not see it on my table - thanks for not including it into the final bill).

The lady on the cashdesk is really rude.

Despite the positive food-wise experience, I will be avoiding this place because of the poor and rude service. You will get much more human touch at...

Venerdì sera non è facile trovare un ristorante a Milano senza prenotare in anticipo… eravamo in due, abbiamo chiamato e ci hanno trovato il posto subito. Ristorante/ pizzeria tipica napoletana, rinnovata, con un ottimo gusto e molta attenzione al dettaglio rispettando sempre il sapore di Napoli in tutto e per tutto che contraddistingue il locale… un bellissimo presente presente in una nicchia chiusa da una vetrata bellissimo. Il menù non è molto vasto però Napoli è li. Con presentazioni molto curate e per nulla scontate. Noi siamo andati un po’ sul classico, ovviamente tutto molto abbondante. Due antipasti, un primo una pizza , un dolce ed un sorbetto ed un caffè. Atmosfera molto gradevole, personale gentilissimo, attento e simpatico, tra una portata e l’altra non abbiamo aspetto molto, il tempo di quattro chiacchiere e qualche risata. Anche a fine cena pur essendoci gente che aspettava fuori non ci hanno messo fretta assolutamente. Veramente molto cordiali e attenti al cliente. Peccato per il trio maschile un po’ invadente che avevano accanto… ma è bastato non dargli retta e dargli un occhiata giusta della serie;” non c’è trippa per gatti( erano due ragazze…oddio ragazze ben oltre i 50😉)”. Da premettere che io non amo molto la cucina napoletana perché la trovo sempre molto pesante, ma qui veramente era tutto super e gustoso, il fritto Alfredo era oltre che abbondante, vario e molto asciutto, il tagliere di salumi di terra abbondante, la pizza dedicata simpaticamente al suocero ( non ricordo il nome)veramente gustosa e ben farcita. Poi c’è il primo piatto, gnocchetti di patate con crema di baccalà e sopra dei friggitelli…che dire veramente delicatissimi e gustosi. Per chiudere in bellezza tra vari dolci partenopei abbiamo optato per una pastiera… e qui non ci sono parole… provare per credere. Insomma bellissima serata tra amiche in un locale che già conoscevo , ma era da prima del Covid che non andavo più. L’ho ritrovato con una marcia in più da tornarci più spesso per assaggiare altri piatti. Ne abbiamo visti passare alcuni veramente accattivanti ovviamente tutti molto ben presentati che invogliavano.
