Ate at this place last week while in Milan. Walked in without reservation, restaurant itself is really nice, elegant and clean. Unfortunately we waited 25 minutes before a drinks order was taken by which time we had decided on food too and ordered. Had there not been thunder and lightning outside, we would have walked out due to the long wait! Once ordered, 2 out of 3 dishes arrived quickly with drinks. Tried to get the attention of waiters who were just looking and walking off! Chap with goatee curly hair looked over, saw i wanted something but never came back! I had to shout excusi to ask another waitress where my 3rd dish was. I was told they held it back as the table had no room?!? I explained i had ordered 3 dishes to arrive together. During our meal, another waiter arrived and started putting down someone else's food and I had to stop him saying its not ours! The food was average, portions were fair. We asked for dessert menu and started to look through, then another waiter arrived with 2 plates for our 'fish course' we said we had already finished and were looking at desserts and had to wave the menu to stop/show him! The restaurant was half full, service was very sloppy and we decided not to have a dessert and to just leave. Real shame about the service as the place was really nicely presented and the food was piping hot once it arrived. I wouldn't eat here again due to the poor service from the waiters and having to sit there for 25 minutes until we received a drink was ridiculous. Management needs to...

I was there in 2024 with a friend when we ran into this place on the way to our hotel. We checked the rating and that they cooked Italian dishes and decided to visit.

It was a let down.

I ordered bruscetta with salmon and they brought me normal bread separately and salmon covered with some salad. I thought they got my order wrong but they insisted it was bruscetta. I had tried this dish many times so it wasn't....it was just bread with salmon. Basically fish was good but i could buy a pack in a supermarket as well.

My friend had grilled vegetables and risotto. I remember her vegetables were very bad and she was upset. I told her we are not in the Italian place and apologised that i had invited her to a tourist trap. Next day we found a good place nearby, a true Italian place with typical Milanese dishes where waiters were Italian old men and they suggested us great dishes...

A big choice of plates You will be ok ( no stomach problems)

dishes are not authentic bad light, no romantic atmosphere too many tourists from the nearest hotels

I didn't...

Been here twice, to try different food items. First time was a meat platter (for 2 people) with beef, veal, sausage, chicken, and pork. I added some salt and pepper, as I think it lacked some of it. Under all the meat there are some fries. It was very good, a great mix for the people who want lots of meat. Second time I took a calzone, which I saw others order on my first visit. It was also very good and I have a hard time picking which one I liked the most, which makes me think that this is a place you can go to for most of your food cravings as their menu contains a wide variety of foods, not just meat and pizza. Definitely worth trying out. Only think I can say that's negative is that the staff, although friendly and so, doesn't really read you to see when you're ready for them to take the next order, but rather they come to your table very quickly after you're finished which can make it feel...

We went on a Saturday night so the place is packed, thankfully we made a reservation in advance so we didn’t have to worry about not having a table. The restaurant is open until midnight. The place was very clean, seats and table settings is five star quality. The service was great (they can speak English quite well). We had appetizers first then pasta for our main dish followed by their famous tiramisu. We have to say the tiramisu was the best one we have had in the two weeks of our travel in Europe (we have had it in France and Switzerland). We left around 9pm and there was still a long line outside so please do make reservations ahead if you plan to come during the weekends. I recommend this place for anyone looking for good Italian food at a reasonable price (not touristy price). The panna cotta is the best I have ever had in my life, please try it if you are ok with dairy and love desert!

Really good restaurant for a cheap price, full review below. Food: food tasted authentic, pizza, pasta and seafood all tasted real good. They also give you a tomato toast and a bag of bread free of charge, the toast is the best I had in all Italy, however the bag of bread doesn’t really taste good, it is really dry and flavourless. Service: waiters are really friendly, the owners are also really friendly. Food arrives within 15 depending on how busy it is. Atmosphere: I visiting the place during August, it was really hot, the restaurant had enough air conditioning, however there were some mosquitoes flying around, me and my family got stung multiple times. Note: service fee is €2 per person.

Fairly pleasant place to eat. The service was reasonable. The wine list was fairly average. We had the "shrimp cocktail" to start. A handful of shrimp on a single leaf and then smothered with unusually sweet mary-rose sauce. However, the veal schnitzel was below par. There was a slight hint of fish to the taste, which might be because the oil had been reused too many times, or the pan not cleaned. Mayonnaise was served in sachets? Either way, it was dry and not particularly enjoyable. It's an expensive restaurant with some stiff competition. Better can be had elsewhere. Edit: reduced to 1 as we woke up to diarrhea.
