It was my first time ever coming to this place as I saw it on the internet. However, it’s not what you expect. This one worker had an attitude towards myself and my family. Not only did she have an attitude, she also swore in Italian, at me because I could not choose which ice cream to have. My nephew is from Italy and he informed me she swore at me in Italian. Just because we are from a different country does NOT mean you can swear at someone especially customers, in your language. It is extremely clear that she has a negative attitude towards those who are not Italian or tourists. When my partner asked her to if she can speak to the manager about her attitude and her rudeness, she denied the fact that she even swore and began arguing. We were very polite about this situation, until they threatened to call the police on us. I,myself, would not recommend this place to anyone at all. I would avoid this place!!!
Reply to their response- I am sure it was not a misunderstanding. There is a difference when swearing at someone and swearing at something. We did not misunderstand at all. She admitted that she did swear, so if you have videotapes, go back and view where she swore. She was confronted about her actions and now it is a violent attack? Have shame. You want to talk about my lack of seriousness and lack of education but you guys were lacking professionalism. Instead of trying to understand me and where I was coming from, you immediately jumped in without understanding my point of view. That’s fine if you want to report my name to the police, but do not give a one sided story. We won’t even be coming back to this place. Teach your staff to have manners and respect...
Read moreThe best gelato of my whole trip! I went all over Italy and tried more gelato than my fitted pants will accept, but Terra was BY FAR the best. First, they had a wonderful selection! I got the raspberry which is always my favorite (lampone) but here it was called "Fruit of the Woods" (frutto del bosco) which is a much more adventurous and exciting name for it, in my opinion. The staff was so welcoming and kind and I tried my best to use the six Italian words I know, which they were forgiving and polite. I picked a cone which meant I got a wafer too (in Florence they charged extra for them) and both made me incredibly happy as I walked the summer streets of Milan eating a cone like a child. If you want to stay there, they have tables and chairs to enjoy your food and it was VERY clean and orderly. Even if you have to walk a couple blocks extra,...
Read moreThe gelato is good though they only let you try one flavour which is quite against the spirit of most Gelateria’s - I always appreciate two tries as I’m quite specific over textures. This gelateria a Tre coni winner has many unique flavours but it isn’t cheap enough to take a risk and end up with gelato you don’t enjoy so the times I have come here I’ve had to stick with standard flavours I didn’t always want just to avoid ending up with something I didn’t like. The pistachio here is very good, the chocolate also decent, the panna excellent and the portion size is good for Milan. There is seating and a toilet for customers which is appreciated and the staff are friendly but overall I don't have as nice an experience here as other Gelaterias and if it wasn’t so close to the train station I likely...
